Do you go with what's hot, what your AM is recommending or how many times the key terms show up in search?

I have something in mind to promote, and my ideal offer would have a steady payout over a long stretch so I can run it for a long time. It's not berries, dating or weight loss, but something I think is very timely.

Yes, that's what I would suggest as well. Anything that sounds reasonable, I give a go. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. go figure

So you see an offer you see this marketing plan in your mind. Put them together and do it. If it is making money fine tune it as needed and make sure that you track all the pages. Once you have it down then all you have to do is watch it make a few pennies or dollars at a time.

Good suggestions, thanks. The offer I'm considering is one in a niche, so I plan on joining a new network that may have a choice of offers in this area. Sometimes it's hard to choose which one is the best one.

Anything that sounds reasonable is worth a go? Who'd a thunk it's so simple?

I'm a big fan of promoting high EPC offers since I know there is a market there. I also do the opposite where I pick the dumbest offers on the network and see if I can make them work. The latter method doesn't work often but when it does - woo hoo.

As soon as you find an offer that you think you should promote then do some market research like find out how hot this offer is, what is keyword bidding price, what is search volume etc.. etc. If everything falls into place then go ahead and pick the offer and promote it.

If you have some niche/offers in mind but aren't sure which networks have them take a look at offervault and affspy. Not all the networks are there, but there are quite a few.

i blast as much shit against the wall as i can and see what sticks. normally something floats to the surface with potential and i build it out, then wash rinse repeat. i'm sure i miss some gems this way but i find more goodies like this than i can handle anyway. it also frees up a lot of my time to work on other aspects of the business, automation, research, improving skills, etc. so when i find something really hot i can juice it harder.

i always check with my AMs periodically as well to make sure nothing's slipping through the net and of course there's whats talked (or more importantly not talked ;)) about here
