Did you follow one of the guides online or did you just throw in skittles like there was no tomorrow?
Absolut is best vodka, although all vodka tastes like shit (gives a nice buzz though).

A few months ago, a friend of mine and I brewed some skittlebrau (beer with skittles in it instead of priming sugar for the carbonation). Since there's not a standard conversion table of skittles to cups of sugar, it was a little foamy.
For the record: not great but drinkable.

We tried making it this past week and it was great! Just as potent as a shot of pure vodka but without the vodka taste!

Look at the nutritional information panel on the back, figure out the quantity of sugar you're getting that way.

Personally if I'm going to drink Vodka I'll take it straight , be it Stoli or Grey Goose.
Flavoring and coke/juice mixing is what you do to compensate for cheap liquor. It's a waste doing it to anything other than cheap alcohol.
