Anyone getting much traffic today? My impressions are close to 0 right now. My guess is a lot of media buys going into effect.

MS have "no animation" in guidelines. But I saw a lot of flash animated ads at my MySpace profile.
What is that?

Hello,

Thank you for advertising with MyAds,

We are reaching out to you in order to provide some advance notice with respect to changes occurring within the MyAds Editorial Guidelines. These changes will go into effect on 03/13/09. At that time, we will be reviewing all submitted campaigns against these new guidelines. In addition, we will be reviewing all ads currently running for compliance.

The following are some specific examples of our updated guidelines:

For offers in the Diet segment:
· Advertiser must be clearly identified in the ad unit (e.g. angiesweightloss.com)
· Advertisements may not make any claim about a product or service (such as diet suppressant, wrinkle remover, or "guaranteed" results) unless it has been substantiated through research or surveys, and that support is publicly available via third party link from the advertisement
o In addition to the substantiation requirements above, all advertisements that make or imply weight loss claims must contain a disclaimer such as "results not typical; individual results may vary".
· If ad says “free offer” but actually requires S&H fee then ad must say “+ S&H”

For offers in the Dating segment:
· Dating ads can be targeted at: Single or Divorced,
· Dating ads cannot be targeted at: In a Relationship, Engaged, or Married

For offers in the Government Grant segment:
· Ads will no longer be accepted that direct to the blog format version of this offer.
· Ads can no longer mimic “News Headlines”

Please review your campaigns that may be affected by these changes, make the appropriate changes and submit them as soon as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter and fuck you,

I'm a non-US advertiser and recently my credit cards got declined on myspace ads. Guess they stepped up the game. Now I'm stuck with an outstanding balance. Any tips on getting around this?

I registered successfully in January but all my Irish CC's have been declined. Raging
Yeah same here. Worked fine for me when they first started out. Seems like I need a US cc now to pay my bills which is obviously crap. Would really appreciate if someone knows of any work around here.

Has anyone experienced major scrubbing at certain times of the day?
It seems as the sooner i near the end date to my campaign. or around 12 PST since I'm working off a daily budget, my clicks come a bit faster than normal.

Yeah I got an automated email which just says my card was declined. I tried re-adding several different cards but to no success.

I've had this a few times - even when you do get another card to go through, that account continues to receive zero impressions. It's been a major bug in their platform since day one. I tried emailing them but the only solution I found is just open another account with a different email ;)

And for the record, I'm also outside the US and all is working fine with cc's etc.
