NEW Facebook Ads

Moving again. For you chaps who's timezone is just waking up you are in luck. For those of us who's day is half gone - not so good!

For anyone else does it seem like bid changes arent affecting impressions?

You ads have been rating fucked. :p

Few months ago, there was a rumor that Digg is working on a new advertisement system that involves using the "digg rating". My guess is that either Facebook ripped the idea off (not like this is the first time) or Digg licensed them the technology.

I don't know what all this talk is about them being lax on all offers. I've tried to submit Acai and work from home stuff and they turn it down time and time again.

Rating fucked? Try system fucked. The rating bullshit is just that, bullshit.

they change advertising policy faster than changing underwear - they are biting the hand that feeds them until they go into q2, want us back and we say FUCK YOU

They are going to be making changes to the home page soon. New ad formats?

I can't tell if that pizza ad is an actual ad, it has the rating buttons underneath, so I'm assuming it is.

anyone else's ads just get raided and destroyed? they just went through my acct, must've been running a script or something to find all the ads I'd hidden...

I still have 3 rebill/blog ads (not grant, of course) still running, and I just got a new ad (non-rebill) approved, so nothing is odd in my account so far.

^^^ yep, same here, my best, newest ads got slapped. Normally you get an email when they do this, but this time, nothing. Anyone have a similar experience?

Well on a bunch of new ads I submitted two days ago, 2/3 of them got disapproved. The other 1/3 was approved - but they only sent me emails for a few of the whole bunch.

Of course, the approval vs. disapproval was as random as can be. They were all 99.9% identical adcopies within the same campaign/demo/etc.

Makes me wonder if they have a disapproval script that is configured to be random on purpose to ease the workload of reviewers, lol.

Hey thanks for the reply. I'm not talking about when an ad gets reviewed for the first time. I'm talking more about retroactive disapproval. When you have an ad that has been running for months, then it gets manually disapproved or, for me last night, seemed like an automated slap. When they go back into your account later and disapprove an ad, you normally get an email. I didn't get any warning this time! Just wondering if that happened to anyone else.
