Yeah, I also posted this story on BHW, whats the issue with this? DigitalPoint, BHW, and Wickedfire are three forums i frequent most often, so I posted it in all three places because I took the time to write it, and thought it would be useful to members of all three. Did anyone find anything about what I posted helpful, because it honestly has been a good niche for me for all the reasons I gave.
 


I don't know what this guy's intentions are but haha this thread reminds me of a sex toy dropship site I setup a few years ago when first getting started in AM. I sold like one blow up doll and sold the site for a few hundred bucks.

And if I remember correctly you don't host the site and I can't remember about the domain. There's a setup fee and a monthly fee.

However, what the OP says is pretty true about there being a lot less competition on sex toys. Had I known what I know now back in the day probably could have banked pretty hard on it. Not my cup of tea right now though.
 
I looked into youradultstore when I was searching for a good program. Their sites were for shit cookie cutter though, It killed any chance of ranking organically because you basically get buried by duplicate content filters. Also, i'm not sure, but they probably have that pesky minimum order requirement I mentioned.

I don't remember the specifics but I'm pretty sure there were a few customization options (categories, products, layout, colors, etc) and a way to add some content here and there. I'm sure they've improved a lot since I used them a few years back. I don't think there were any minimums for orders but then again my only sale was a blow up doll worth a few hundred bucks and I got my check for that.

May not be so great for ranking but for PPC it would be just fine. Damn that rabbit vibrator gets 'nuff searches. Alright I'm outta this thread, carry on.
 
Why would anyone kill their profits to 'introduce themselves to the community'? Seems retarded to me. Obviously people are going to enter that niche, which tells me he's probably not in it in the first place.

He wants to make the commissions off of signing up people to the sex toy e-commerce site. But I hope nobody's so blind that they actually believe this guy's story.

i understand everyone skepticism, I suppose i should have been contributing more before posting something like this. I was being honest about this niche, it is worth investigating as a good way to make money.
