Damn! Yahoo has a 1000 keyword limit per campaign... how do I scale?

I've a campaign on YSM that's currently making me some profits and I'm intending to scale it up.

Problem is there's a 1000 keyword limit per campaign. This campaign currently has 600 keywords, and I've already prepared an additional 10,000 keywords as part of the scaling up process.

Should I run the risk of getting banned for duplicate ads serving by splitting up those 10,000 additional keywords into 10 separate campaigns, each with 1k keywords?

Bahhhh.

I'd tell you not to double-serve, but it would be a waste of time because Yahoo is such a mess they'd never know (or likely care).

Just call up to the general sales number and make up some BS. Say you are a SEM and you have multiple clients. They might give you a gold acct which I think is 100k keywords or something similar... then up to Platinum which is basically unlimited (1MM) - and you can then create new accounts if you fill that one up.

platinum? I didnt know that there were platinum yahoo accounts. are you talking about yahoo mcc accounts?

I agree.

Your keywords will be different in each campaign so would having duplicate ads matter?

Good question.

Though my keywords are different, they are set under Advanced match which is equivalent to Adwords' broad match so there's still a chance a search query may trigger more than 1 ads to show.

Hmm..unless I switch to Standard match...

I m using a Gold account with the import feature...

I don't think theres a platinum... at least my rep didn't inform me I could upgrade my account further

Maybe platinum no longer exists. Now that I think about it... last time I called support I did speak to the "gold" team.

I guess I can't find that my account says platinum in it anywhere. It does give me the ability to create accounts, so I guess it's like the adwords MCC.
