Has anyone signed up to Google's affiliate network? Any thoughts?

I'm considering joining since there is a merchant who only deals with them.

Considering the way everything else related to affiliates is handled with Google, I would stay away.

lots of mainstream offers (obviously) and their cookies probably aren't blocked by everyone's computers like CJ's cookies are.

Google is by far the worst affiliate program I ever dealt with. I ran some textbook offer through them (because they took over Performics, not by choice) and they've owed me some bullshit amount (~couple hundred) for about 4 months. They haven't paid me, and said they know they owe me, but can't figure out why I haven't been cut a check. Unfortunately, it's not enough money for me to chase, but it was enough for me to know to stay the fuck away from Google. They do search well, but they suck ass at running an affiliate network.

They have gone months without paying me THOUSANDS of dollars I was owed. I ended up getting an email address for someone specific who helped me out. Basically when companies pay them late, they delay the affiliate payment even though it says they cannot do this in the contract we signed.

Pain in the ass but... helped force me to diversify my revenue streams. Then, you can expect half of your revenue sources to be idiots and screw something up but you can still have a nice flow of revenue regardless

^^^^ that is very good advice. for me learned through hard lessons i might add.

I'm part of Google Affiliate, and trully not impressed at all. I've been rejected by 2/3 of all the publishers. I'm also working with Azoogle, monetizeit, and a few others, they seem to have much higher payouts that Google Affiliate, which in fact used to be it's own company before being bought by Google. It doesn't seem it's been yet revamped by Google

They fucking suck. I promote one of the offers on there and made about 600 bucks back in December last year and I STILL HAVEN'T GOT PAID.

I kept emailing them and they kept telling me they are actively working to collect the outstanding balance. Yep, they have been trying hard to collect my 600 dollars for the past 4 months and still nothing.

Finally they gave me advertiser's detail and ask me to contact them directly to see if I can escalate the issue myself. Bunch fucktards.

Fuck them, stay away

I'm wondering if the G aff network is the killer and you want the competition to stay away or if they do really suck that hard.
