Here is my Campaign Stats... Need Assistance.

Ok Guys, I am getting pretty upset here. Thought I would share some of my info for my current campaign, if someone can please tell me what I need to change/remove/edit etc to either make this profitable (more profitable) please let me know if you could.

I am running a re-bill offer on Google PPC Search Only.

I started last night EST around 6pm - let it run till around 11pm. I converted 5 sales. I then set Ad Scheduling to stop till this morning and start at 8am. At 8 am to around 10:30am I converted 4 more, then all day today nothing...not one... the clicks just came coming, but no conversions. Then at around 4pm I got one then another at around 5:30pm.

So in total from yesterday at 6pm - 11pm then from 8am - now I have converted 11 Sales = Just about broke even maybe up $5.00.

In my Prosper202 it has Yesterday 141 clicks 5 Leads 3.5% S/U
Today 154 Clicks 6 Leads 3.9% S/U

My Average CPC in adwords is $1.22 and my CTR = 2.41%

295 Total Clicks - 96 click through to the offer = 32.54% CTR to Offer.

I have spent $374 on Adwords and have made $385. That's a 3% ROI. As of this moment.

Basically, what I want to know is what you guys think of this campaign? I really don't know where to go from here to make this profitable to a point that actually means something and not $10 a day or whatever. This is basically my first real crack at spending this much money.

Id appreciate some assistance on taking the next steps to get this more profitable.

Your conversions are going to be sporadic until you really start sending a lot of traffic. That's the nature of probability.

You're profitable, which is obviously the first step. 295 clicks isn't enough (in my mind) to REALLY see how well an offer is going to perform, but it'll definitely give you an idea, and so far that idea is good.

Now start tweaking. Try another LP color scheme, changing some headings, mixing up your ad text (even changing "and" to "&" could change things a bit), swap in the same offer from a different network, advertise on MSN or YSM, whatever. Split testing is what gets you profiting. Judging by what a lot of people around here tell me, a lot of campaigns start in the negatives and you have to work your way up to positive ROI.

Looks like you have a campaign with great potential. 3% profit without any tweaking, trust me, it is not bad at all. Most of my campaign usually loss money at the very beginning.

Don't do any ad scheduling at beginning, if you have the money, let it run for at least a week or even two weeks, then look at your prosper202 to determine how exactly you want to set your ad scheduling. Weed out the bad timings.

After two weeks, you should also have enough clicks to determine which keywords are profitable and which ones are not. Weed out the not profitable ones. Take the profitable ones and expand the hell out of it.
For example if google money tree is a profitable keyword for you, try adding other keywords like money tree google, google tree money, make money google tree, google monies tree and etc. You can even try broad match with shitloads of neg keywords.

I would keep tweaking, looks like you got a winner campaign ahead of you.

Don't forget to split test the ad copy, landing page, different call to action and etc, ya know, all the basics.
 
Right now I am using broad match... Should I make it exact? What do you do once you get words like money tree google, google tree money, make money google tree, google monies tree would you usually set those as phrase match or exact?

i always start with exact match, that way you have highli targeted keyword and great ctr.

I usually have two adwords campaigns per offer, 1 for exact match only, 1 for broad match only. My broad match campaign has over 3k neg keywords

If you bid google money tree for broad match, your ad will show up when people search for google money tree support, google money tree scam. You dont want that.

Exact only at beginning, it will improve your CTR dramatically and lower your cpc, once you find winner keywords, then expand it slowly.

PunchMyFace, I believe Ive told you 20 times to start out with exact match, if not you better have an insane amount of neg keywords.

Sounds like your onto a promising campaign and that's good mate keep it up & keep tweaking, I know you've been trying for a while now, remember keep your way of thinking in check, fuck the negative thinking of ok.
 
I am kinda worried I might have to stop this tomorrow. I dont have the funds upfront to run this a lot longer.... I can't afford to keep paying for clicks and only profiting $10... I wish I could this is the first time I ever got something to convert more then 1...

Damn... I will keep you updated I am going to let it run all night tonight... I feel like my clicks for some reason for the last hour have almost halted? weird... I dont see my ad when I search for some words, my CPC is high, everything says its running... wtf.
 
^^^ you need to write better ads and strive for much better ctr's, also have you got your quality score showing? hover over the magnifying glass and see why your kw's aren't showing I'd hazard a guess at either poor qs or not enough search volume.

What are you bidding at the moment?
 
Because I dont get paid instantly. The money is coming out of my checking account & I dont have the funds...
 
How are you grouping your KW's and ads? really strive for better ads and ctr's it's 70% of QS.
 
yeah, all my KW's go good with my ad. But I do that when I have different kw variations. My Click's have COMPLETELY Stopped.... What could cause this?
