Wealthy Affiliate is actually a very good place if your just starting out and want a step by step approach. Thats where I started when I was a noob and I made some good contacts and learned the basics to making money. Alot of people on here will bash it but imho its one of the only paying services that's worth it. Its only like $40/month. Thats pocket change. PM me if you have any questions.

for reference you will learn 10x more by doing than reading so get the basics down, learn how your ad networks work (google,yahoo,msn etc) then build some shit.
