So i made an awesome campaign on facebook within one day, there were 377 clicks and each ad has over 10k impressions with .07+ CTR%.

Here's the catch, not one person signed up...so i ended up spending around $160.00 for this campain.

What should i do, ditch the campaign or keep trying...maybe i'm just getting unlucky?

Advice please

i got really good pictures approved too and this took me 3 days of constant resubmitting to get them approved...

and you call it an 'awesome campaign' ?

did they click through the offer?
are you testing the same offer / similar offers from more than one network?

Well, for a start, you didn't limit the amount you were paying to test the traffic. Mistake #1 right there.

Secondly, Facebook tends to convert like crap for a lot of things. You not only have to really know the shit you're promoting, preferably making a good lander for it, but you also have to know the people you're meant to be promoting it to. Facebook makes this kind of targeting easy as taking a piss, but the hard part is actually knowing who you're selling to.
When I promote bike parts, I don't just target them at people that like "cycling", I have age, gender, location all locked down to specific images and text in my ads.

Dating is a total crap shoot on FB. That great picture you got approved might be getting you clicks but it might be the reason you are not getting conversions as well. Hot girl in the pic and then hit a lander with nothing but couples and gay love = no conversions.

that's up to you. I have spent that much while tweaking text and images (and split testing offers) and had them poor very poorly on more spend than that but then once I hit the right combo of image, copy and offer it killed it. I guess it comes down to your budget and if you think you can work the vertical.

well i'm not sure what i can do with the ads to make them start signing up...i've already tweaked the ads and everything and finally got them approved.

When you go on your facebook and see a dating ad would you personally click it and sign up. Or would you rather find chicks that you went to high school with who vaguely remember you and try to coax them into a one night stand?

I know which one I would choose...

Then again, I would not get a free diet pill trial and put in my credit card without reading the terms of service and figuring out what a fucking rebill is, but yet this happens everyday. So I guess my argument is a bit invalid. But still, facebook is more of the highschool/college crowd who probable have no problem finding a party to go get wasted at and getting some drunken pussy. Dating offers are best pushed to lonely middle aged men who have have turned to the internet as a last resort and then tearfully jerk off to profile pictures on the whichever new network they just signed up for that week.

tl;dr Dating offers do not mix with facebook. Give it up and cut your $160 losses.

targeting is the key with dating IMO but if your just starting out I would stay clear of dating on FB
