I'd asked this in a previous thread but am looking for more ideas.

Does anyone out there know of any good open source or inexpensive affiliate program systems that are reliable and secure?

If you were setting up your own affiliate program to bring a product to market on a limited budget what might you suggest to get up and running as quickly as possible?

I never tried them but bookmarked just in case.
You have post affiliate pro and post affiliate free.
Direct track could be an alternative but i heard a lot of complaints about it.
I'm part ot a network which uses linktrust and i'm pretty satisfied (from an affiliate side).

Hope it help.

Thanks guys, keep the suggestions coming.

As it stands it will just be the one supplement product for now with the possibility that might expand to 3-5 products in the future made by the same company using similar technology, but for different ailments.

I need to come up with a decent solution so that I can start letting potential affiliates know about the product with someplace for them to go to sign up.

Cheers.

In all honesty, for a single product (or 5 even) just have Audax write you up a custom app that does exactly what you want it to do, doesn't even have to be fancy. He's done a shitton of quality work for guys on this forum and is one of the most consistent devs out there, really top quality.

You could always work with a network as well then you don't have to handle any of that. Just place a pixel and pay the bill. They have everything required to manage the affiliate side of things.

Yeah - out of curiosity, why not just run it through an established network? I would think their cut would be far outweighed by the number of publishers they can expose to your product...

true....plus then the advertiser has a built in affiliate base to actually push the offer....win/win
