No, this isn't a Clickbank question.

Actually, I lied. It's a CB question. Kind of.

I have written a book - specifically tied to small independent owners of technology firms, contractors, independent marketers, etc.

The book is 120 pages right now - all text, no fluff. With graphics, etc, I think it could easily be 200 pages. And it's all good, quality, original material.

The question I have is - what the fuck do I do with it now? I like writing - this was more of a hobby/blowing off steam activity for me than anything.

I like the idea of putting it on CB because I could focus on real activities.

However, I also hate it for a number of reasons. Having a CB product is kind of like have herpes - you just don't tell most people. No, I don't have herpes. Plus if it ever had any success I'd want to try to publish it as a real book.

Consequently I'm thinking of promoting it myself and perhaps having a few affiliated people help me (no, this is not a pitch).

Anyone gone down that road? I'd love to know your experience.
 


My advice, drop the shit, coz thats what ebooks are just shit, & start doing cpa or promote physical products.

That is actually one option. I've got printing quotes out for short run printing jobs. I could print this for a reasonable price and sell it as a physical product.

I'm not going to debate the merits of the content because that's a bottemless hole but I appreciate the comment.
 
Really amazes me that people shit all over eBooks out of hand around here. Info products are a kick ass business model and if you have traffic skills, you can crush it.

That's not to say that all eBooks are good (especially in the IM market) but you can build a serious funnel in a lot of niche markets with serious margins, backend and upsells. Beats managing a physical products business hands down.
 
^ Yeah what you say is very true, but its so much easier to convert physical products versus electronic information, you need to realise the main reason people buy a computer (well most people anyway) is to get their information for free, they don't really want to pay for it which makes converting ebooks just that much harder, hey Ive worked hard and I love working hard and certainly have nothing against working hard but not any more than I have to.

I don't know about that. Specialized information is always in demand.

Clickbank is coming up on $1.5 billion in sales through affiliates. Someone's buying info products.
 
jesus christ just sell it on clickbank. it's a stigma because of all the MMO products, but there are a 100 different niches.

if i were moral, i'd promote CB over Google CPAs. At least with a $xx charge you're only paying it once instead of having your bank account raided. it's technically cheaper for the consumer

Yes, that's exactly the key: *specialized* information. People will pay a premium for quality information (at least perceived quality, anyway) on niche topics. Even if the information is available for free from various other sources, there are always people who don't want to scour the internet tracking it all down. They want the quick scratch to cure their itch, whatever that might be.

Hello friends,

Sell ebooks digital can be just as if no more profit then sell product physical.

I think how make big money on Internet ebook always have business good.

There many people who dream and think can make big money on Internet just by work 1 or 2 hour day and 2 or 3 day week and rest time for live life of luxury.

Many willing to pay hundreds if no thousands for ebook which only have information basic and can be found free.

Ebooks are garbage! and that's why people sell them on clickbank. i don't see the reality of you 'promoting this yourself'. You're not running your own network and you'll have trouble getting affiliates to promote your little ebook, so just throw it up on CB and see if you get anything.
