I have been racking my brain here...

Say I am using the content network and I send people to a landing page. If the visitor clicks on a link and is redirected to the affiliate offer using a simple php redirect, will the affiliate network see the original referrer?

Say I was using the search network with the same setup. Would the network see my keywords?

What if I am direct linking but sending people through a simple redirect. I am sure the referrer persists through to the network. Right?

If I block the referrer, will Google analytics still work properly or does it rely on referrer info?

Thanks in advance!

Guys, I read it on wickedfire few days ago but now missing the link? Do anybody search and get me the link please! So that we can help nakedsoul

I believe the answers are as follows:

Google tracking uses a cookie so I don't have to worry about cloaking the referrer.

From what I have read, I don't believe that a simple redirect will get rid of the referrers. I would need a meta refresh.

I just want to confirm this is true.

Tracking on the content network is a pain with Prosper 202. Anyone know if StatsJunky can provide the referrer for the content network?
