A friend of mine asked me this on FB and it got me thinking. There's a lot of great ones. He said Today was a good day by ice cube. While I think that's a great song I can name a dozen Tupac or Too Short or RUN DMC songs I think are better. So, what do you think?

Immortal Technique, Jedi Mind Tricks, Army of the Pharaohs, Celph Titled, Apathy, Atmosphere, Lords of the Underground, etc.

Underground is the way to go.

Underground is the only real hip hop left. Brother Ali, Atmosphere, Murs, Blackalicious, Lyrics Born (they are still considered 'underground', right?)
