So did you apply to shareasale before you made the web site and then decided to go the 6pack route? Or did you just know you were gonna do this type of thing regardless?

Hey Lemons, great documentation so far and I wish the best of success. My one request would be to change your revenue values to not include the money that was given to you since that was an exception doesn't add value to the purpose of the documentation. What's more beneficial to everyone, in my opinion, would be to list your cumulative expenses with correlation to your direct actions with the marketing. That gives a much more realistic, "What can I expect?" scenario.
Day 48
I did shareasale after the website was built.
I count it as a donation and part of "making money online" so I'm gonna leave it. Everybody has different scenarios. Some make money online instantly and some can spend 2 years, not taking action, and making no money at all. For me, I spent 3 years wasting time in ponzi schems (such as buxto) and automated traffic systems and wasted money on these. (banned from google adsense in this process biggest regret).
Gonna go ahead and do day 48 at 1:41 am because I already know what I'm going to do "today"

-Working on my new site all day tommorow. Just got wordpress installed, the header, home page, and some records. Need a lot more content. I want to keep doing this until I get around 100 pages. I predict this could take 1-2 weeks. All the content is going to be unique.

-100 pages of content on new site in 1-2 weeks depending on how fast I can find information and rewrite it.

But if you really want Google Adsense you should take a few mins and do it.
If you have cable mode (or dsl prob) all you have to do is call them up and ask for a new IP. You might even be able to do it by logging onto your ISP website somehow.
Then, if you have any friends or family, use their bank account name/address to set up an account. There are probably a million different ways to get your Adsense rolling. If you don't want to use someone else's address or your own then buy one! - like paperlessPOBox.com.
Then be paranoid, clear all cookies and web cache before signing up for your adsense account. Or reinstall your OS if you want.
Try to remember what info you gave them when you first signed up. Then do not put any of that info into your new account.

I signed up under a proxy and a different name/website and they still got me. Deleted cookies and everything right before.
I'm talking with a friend of mine right now if he will put my site on his google adsense. Hes not too sure; he doesn't want to get banned either lol.

I really love this site. I did Discus in my senior year of high school and was the best sport I had ever done. I liked Discus more then the 4 years of football I played.
I think one of the keys to being successful online is to own a site about something you like; a niche about your hobbies. For me, I couldn't have a site about computer hardware or a internet marketing site. You have to have a niche where you can actually provide good information and have fun doing it. Worse come to worse; even if you don't make money, it is still satisfying to build a site that helps others get the information they need. When I did track; I was looking all over the place for information and now my site brings it all together.
lemons you really like that template don't you, honestly i think it looks a little tacky.... i personally wouldnt buy anything... it has to look more... professional..

If you have a small resolution it looks really good because the background shows. If you have a wide one, it still looks better then what I previously had. Tommorow I'm just adding more content and fixing some meta tags.
Been reading along for a couple of weeks and expecting to see you make some cash from your site. I'm also new to AM but have made nearly $300 (not going to make me rich but I'm going in the right direction) in about 6 weeks just trying some things out and I've only spent maybe 8-10 hours. It feels to me like you're wasting your time adding more and more content and getting nowhere. Spending more time on keyword research and domain names would make more sense. The two sites I have going right now are just a few pages each, take no upkeep and were created based on the research. At what point does it make sense to change directions and choose a new method?
My major problem is traffic to my website. My first site has too much competition, heavy keyword competition, and a pretty bad domain name. I guess that is one of the reasons I am only pulling in 100-200 visitors a day. Red_virus just completed my 100 social dofollow bookmarking links so we will see how that goes.
My new website has a very dense domain name. My keyword is in the domain itself so I should start seeing some organic traffic from it. I also did some more keyword search on this site. I will probably order another 100 backlinks for the new website as well.
Good job on your progress so far; maybe we will see mine speed up. I expected this to take a while.
My first site gets less than 100 per day but still converts sales so I don't 100% believe it's the traffic (though more couldn't hurt). I think it's the format and people wanting to believe what you're saying in order to buy. Focusing your efforts on a better sales presentation seems like a better place to put effort than posting yet another article to the site. I wish you luck but just hate to see you spinning your wheels.
Thank you for the advice. I guess this will help my new site. I need to do a better job preselling then- having products reviewed, using coupons, testimonials, certifications, making people wanna buy and feel safe buying.
I like adding content by the way though. I think a good mixture of both is what needs to be done.
