Twitter Cracks Down On Spam Accounts, People Lose Followers

I lost close 300 on my personal account, now down to 3300, my other accounts are similar. i think overall it's a good thing, gotta make them accounts look like they real

I lost about 400 followers. Not a huge deal though, because they were obviously junk anyway.

Accounts should look like real people not as spam then Twitter can never track them.

I'm around 2200 I lost less than 100, not a big deal for me.

well, i guess it hurts ppl who want to sell there accounts, making the accounts less attractive

Selling your account is against the T&C last time I looked at them... although they tend to change regularly enough.
Don't think it's really that much of an issue. If you're running an automated account, it just needs a decent gimmick and a believably hot chick.

my spam accounts are still active and have about 25% less followers than before. They all look real.

Twitter is doing a good thing. otherwise in a matter of months, there will be more spam bots than real users.

I didn't loose any. Great that they are cracking down. Means more actual (live ppl) to market to.
