Kiss Yahoo Goodbye!

And heres the main shitbag responsible for this Chuck Turner Profile | ComplaintsBoard.com

This asshole bought a teeth whitening program from one of our offers then starts calling us on the phone because he got the rebill. Look at this shitheads comments hes signed up for 900 offers and complains about every one of them if anyone can get me his email address PM it to me i have plans for this fuckwad.
Why not just ask the merchant he ordered from?
He had to give it to sign up.

I have a fairly high volume yahoo content campaign (~30 million impressions daily). I have not seen anything bad happening as of yet. In fact, I just uploaded a new campaign in the weekend after the recent update and it was approved without any problems (it is rebill). Let's see what happens.

Are you referring to a media buy, or straight content network through Yahoo Search Marketing?

oh nooo! Now people can't promote scammy products and have start thinking for themselves!! what is this industry coming to?

Bout time these companies start taking responsibility for what they allow people to advertise instead of just closing their eyes and pointing fingers down the chain.

If you know anything about how to think for yourself you will see there are a bazillion other ways to make good money that don't involve being shady or promoting crap. Time to start thinking for ourselves here and not just copying what other people do and pouring money into it and pretending like we are smart b/c we were able to put more money into it than the other guy...

It's only a matter of time though.

Time to diversify away from the big 3 PPC platforms.

I like the article on your site... been doing that since the slaps/bannings started and its definitely better as a long term business model

You made me do it:

Seriously? man that sucks! I've been running hundreds of offers on Yahoo and dozens of them are rebill offers. Damn! It's not that I don't trust you Murphy, just hope it' snot true!

The Yahoo rug being swept out from under IM'ers running rebill offers on YSM comes as no surprise, given the amount of complaints from disgruntled customers. By "disgruntled", I mean idiots who still don't realize the fine print contains the most important details of the offer. These headline whores will find other ways to throw away their money and smart internet marketers will be there on the rebound to once again collect handsomely.

If you put all your eggs in one basket, this business is like walking a tightrope in a windstorm. If you diversify your marketing methods and offers, that tightrope widens to a walkway and that strong wind becomes a light breeze. You'll stay upright, survive and prosper just fine, regardless of Yahoo or Google's policy changes.

Keep making that money, everyone!

If you were running that many offers on yahoo display wouldn't you know by now? You know ... from reps or something?
