NEW Facebook Ads

They freak out if they see ?whatever=anything

I consolidated separate pages for my demographics into one ?source=demo and they got denied sight unseen. 10 ads disapproved and only 1 visit.

Fucking turds.

I want to hear more about what facebook said at ASE.

This must be why I got all my rebills that were running disapproved today. I submitted a few links with those.

Yeah in case you didn't see it within the TOS, facebook HATES re-bills and will not let one of those slip through unless you cloak or happen to get a really drunk intern reviewing your submit.

Notice I said the rebills that were running, as in they already slipped through.

They just switched them over to disapproved.

did you not have cloaking running? Or did you only check for referer and they went to your site without it.

was it during business hours?

move on from rebills on FB...they have bots and will search and destroy accts with them in it. If you have a solid acct with good history and nice max spend limit you are taking a risk running rebills. Theres tons of other stuff...check the adboard like everyone else >)

did you guys see their stupid "affiliate newsletter"? It said "want to run rebills? check out section 7 of our TOS!

Dont you guys know that complying with their ad guidelines will help you better connect with your users!

I don't know how you guys are cloaking, but my script redirects real people coming from facebook to the offer page, not the interns. That way the only way you get redirected is if you show referer facebook that's not dev or intern. It sounds like you guys have it set up to redirect the interns so you can get caught if they visit by typing in your url.

So when the deactivated my rebills, I got this message:

"The content advertised by this ad is restricted. Per section 5 of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines, this content is prohibited from being advertised on Facebook. We reserve the right to determine what advertising we accept, and will not allow the creation of any further Facebook Ads for this product. Ads for this product, service or site should not be resubmitted. We appreciate your cooperation with this policy."

Is it safe to try and submit more rebills or will they just ban my account after that warning?

In short:
I got a cosmetic ad approved.
I redirected the link to a rebill.
The ad ran for a few hours getting over 500 clicks.
The ad gets disapproved a few hours later.

Not worth the effort.

Lack of impressions is the worst problem with FB right now IMO

FB disapprovals should be the least of our concerns right now. At least with disapprovals, you know you can just resubmit until they finally slip through (and just forget about rebills). We're all used to it, it's part of the game. Just accept the fact it will take you an average 5-10 resubmits to get shit approved and deal with it.

However....
The real concern IMO is their serious problem with not giving a lot of new campaigns any impressions. Shit, anyone can get shit approved eventually if you submit them enough times. Nbd.

But what a fucking annoyance it is to have spent time building out ads, images, campaigns, etc. Finally have them approved and running - and then get NO IMPRESSIONS. Time after motherfucking time!

More and more people are seeing this and it is completely out of control. Wish I had been at ASE to bring this up to their attention.
