If she wins, a win for aff. marketers?

It's an important free speech issue, but I don't see how it directly connects to aff marketing.

"Our Founding Fathers wrote 'The Federalist Papers' under pseudonyms. Inherent in the First Amendment is the right to speak anonymously. Shouldn't that right extend to the new public square of the Internet?"

sorry your honor i invoked my right to write my b/flog anonymously. it was me who lost my job, got paid by big G and lost 38lbs...

There is no way she'll win this lawsuit.

1. Read the Blogger.com TOS
You agree that Google may access or disclose your personal information, including the content of your communications, if Google is required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process or governmental request (such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order), or as otherwise provided in these Terms of Service and the general Google Privacy Policy.
2. Google didn't volunteer the information, it was court-ordered.
3. It's a defamation case against someone with no money/ fame against someone who has money/ fame. The scales of justice re already in the model's favor.

Good luck trying to land a job in the fashion world blogger-from-the-Fashion-Institute-of-Technology.

(Although, maybe her cattiness and name recognition will land her a spot. Who knows.)

Name recognition? If she successfully sues G maybe....

Ironically, Liskula's subpoena could have probably been quashed before it became a court order if Rosemary was more proactive from the beginning.

Moral of the story:

FACT: FIT girls are hot
FACT: Google is teh suck
FACT: Mud or JELLO wrestling solves all disputes between two hot chicks.
