NEW Facebook Ads

Guessing this drop in impressions is related to the "Like" feature.
I think a drop in impressions is caused by ads getting stale, and being displaced by newer ads.

I have a campaign showing some life with a .14 - .15 CTR. What would you recommend as a bid price? I kept lowering it as the CTR was sustained through lots of impressions. Nickeycakes' bid calculation tool is broken. :(

So far no conversions, but this looks like a campaign I can build on.

just bid what it says or pick a number you are willing to pay

Are you CPM bidding? With that CTR it's probably much cheaper if you do.

Hi Matt,

Thanks for inquiring about our new bulk upload tool. We are currently in closed beta testing and cannot add any additional advertisers to help us test out the tool. Once we work out bugs/kinks with the beta partners, we will be opening the tool up to all advertisers. Thanks for your interest in the new tools we are developing. We will let you know as soon as they're available to everyone.

Thanks,

Facebook New Low:

Hi ,

We took a look at your Ads Manager and it appears that your ads were disapproved for receiving negative user feedback. If a number of users give negative feedback by x-ing out your ad or using other features, this can affect the number of impressions it receives on our site.

Please do not resubmit this ad in its current form. Let us know if you have any other questions.

So be aware now when a competitor or someone else clicks 'x' your ads will become disapproved.

They also appear to be searching the TLD and finding all ads across accounts I hear.

Also, my campaigns were within guidelines, not rebill, diet etc.

The campaigns had spent $200k August, so Facebook obviously doesnt want money - as usual.

I can't wait for someone to come up with a script that automatically Xs all the ads on the ad board until they have to get rid of the system...

Anyone seeing major click discrepancies today? I'm only seeing half the clicks that I'm being charged for.

If anyone gets a look at it chime in here..love to see what it can do, compared with Pinstripes FB ad mgr......would be nice to get some real PPC features, ie day parting etc etc...

Speaking of day parting - has anyone tried this:
Dayparting Script for Facebook, MySpace, and AdBrite — netmischief
?

Yeah I thought my clicks were a bit off today too.

Are these guys retarded?
My ctr's just cut in half, Im getting no impressions, and most of my new ads are not being approved/ still waiting.

fuck

^^Same here, except I've been able to get ads approved. These are the exact ads that have previously ran with descent CTR, and now they're very poor performers for the 5 minutes they run. Plus getting click discrepancies, which is unusual lately.
