Did you try Gate2Shop?

Try to talk ot Yuval there. Tell him Alon recomended them.

can u link me to your website so that i can see what there 3rd party solution looks like....?

i dont want the checkout page to be hideous.... that lowers the conversion rate quite a bit... i wanna see how they represent re-occuring charges...! i dont like 3rd party solutions which keep shouting about that!

i want a solution that does not really shout bout it when the user is putting in his info!

do they need the website to be PCI compliant?

if yes... anybody has any experience with that?

Our processor recently required us to be PCI compliant. It's simple really. Don't store CC# (last 4 digits is ok), expiry and VCC. You don't have to go through all the bullshit then. You don't need this info to do recurring billing with the processor we use.

they are kinda slow... first i got a mail from a guy...

I replied with a No and then he asked for my info which i sent.. then no reply..

and then somebody else from the company emails me

and i am like nooo... n i send the info again...

n now it has been like a day from the last email and nothing!

their support is really messed up right now i think!

Exactly the same string of emails I've received but I haven't had the third one yet. Filled in their form in a minute and fired it back to them. Seems rather automated and impersonal. I prefer when someone puts their name to an email so I know who I am dealing with.

I had the guys from Product2Web refer me to Maxpayments. They've had some communication issues too though.

Sure - I'll delink it on purpose here. One example is www dot inforegistry dot com - you can see an example if you go through the checkout process.

The way we have it set up is a white labeled iFrame. So while it is a 3rd party solution, your website visitors never see it.

They are the payment processor. I don't think there is any difference between an iframe of the secure page (you are themerchant, the just process the credit card for you) and link to a seperate PayPal/Google Checkoout page.

That said, if it is a subscription product you need to put that in the item description on that page.

tvpcorp.com

they deal with high risk, high chargeback accounts. i know they do a lot of mlm. let me know if you go with them, i want to get a pat on my back for referring you :D

i dint get any reply from paygea..... nybody knows nybody personally who i can email?

i was really expecting a reply from them!

OK, I had to send a second email to Paygea and finally got a reply describing all the information they require.

Looks like the same issue with them as with Maxpayments, they want 6 months previous processing records.

Kind of a nasty catch 22. Can't get a merchant account without previous processing records. Can't get previous processing records without a merchant account.

Waiting to hear back from them again. In the meantime I'll start working my way through some of the other recommendations here.

One thing to note, I've been told in the first line of the email back to me that Paygea DO NOT do rebills. Emphasis on do not is theirs. That's ok with us as rebills aren't part of our marketing strategy, but it might be an issue for others here.

edit: Paygea got back to me and said processing history through Paypal will suffice.

funny i dint even get any emails from them after that!

n well no rebilling = they are out of my list! :(

waiting for others to reply now! people in this industry are a bit slow!

Anyone been successful in getting an account?

It's always a struggle to get a good merch acct.

man u guys have no idea what the hell u are doing.

i would retain an attorney who deals in high risk/card processing, let them help you get set up w/ processing. that is the easy part.

this way you will understand what you are getting into and what contracts you are signing.

i would definitely not even think about getting into the game if you are not able to do this.
