Getting Stiffed By Traffic Needs

just sayin

Is it because nobody here uses them?
That would be it. No one really. Hydra is massive a lot of people use them

Traffic Needs hunted my ass down and offered me a decent payout on a product with what seemed like a tight LP. Figured I'd give them a try. In hindsight I will only work with bigger networks with good rep from now on. C2M pays me on the 15th every month without delay. BONG!

I'm glad to have stumbled on to this
thread b/c I was about to sign-up.

With these kinds of problems, a new
affiliate (like myself) could end up in
a world of trouble.

It pays to find out the scoop on a
network before you start.

I'm sorry for all your issues and I
hope you get your money asap!

Don't do that Lady! You should peep C2M if you haven't already.

They owe us some money too, not a big amount but for a company who claims they are ballers they cant seem to settle our small invoice.

I was actually hesitant to work with them and after much persuasion internally and seeing them still up on other networks i gave in. Next time I'll make sure to listen to my spidey senses.

I will say my understanding is its not directly their fault and their third party vendors caused a shit storm for them. This is why i don't accept 90% of the continuity clients trying to play in this space in to our network. Most are funding their business with tomorrows sales, and cant anticipate whats down the road. There are a handful of advertisers who seem to know what they are doing, the rest are figuring it out as they go, most of the times on either the network or the affiliates dime.

They owe me an outstanding balance of 20,000+, and now they're about 10 days late on their invoice. I'll give them some time to pay it, they've always paid in the past (often times late).

Their terms of service is confusing. Their offers got pulled abruptly leading me to believe their merchant accounts got burned and all their cashflow is gone. I tried contacting twice this week with no response.

That's why there are networks in place to protect affiliates payments. I have to absorb this type of shit all the time, and trust me - I see weekly payments turn into monthly net45 ALL the time.
