Hi Guys. I'm kind of an observer here for the past month, find that WF is pretty "rough" on noob, that's ok. That's the game.

I will make it quick. This is my situation.

I'm working full time as graphic designer. But in print design, not web. But I can design web but not code it. I have a real basic understanding of html and/or php. Neverthless, I can help myself with basic stuff. I made some sites, wordpress and/or html. I'm part of various CPA networks and I got support from 2 of them who are really good (C2M and MaxBounty). I think I know a lot of stuff, but I'm actually clueless about what's the best way to test campaign quick and to know if the problem is me, my site, the traffic or the offer.

I'm doing "actively" this for the past 2 months. Read too much for the last year while doing nothing. But now, I'm hungry to make it work.

I think I have everything I need to make it work. I have the tools, the knowledge, the will, I'm good designer, check my sites :

It's not like I can't do that kind of things.

It's more about targeting good kws and built profitable campaigns..

I am mostly looking for somebody who is doing great here and wants to give me cues on a regular basis.. or insights on my own campaigns and on the good and bad moves I do. Like a mentor...

I don't know, I can pay in doing print and web design for him. We'll find something.

And yeah, I guess I will receive "funny" comments about this. But hey, it is worth trying...

You're going to get flamed for this post, here's what you have to do. Try a lot of campaigns.

When I first started I asked experienced affiliates questions like.

"If I run this on adwords do you think it will work? "

The answer I got were, run it and see. So no one is going to tell you what they're doing. You just have to try things and be your own mentor.

When you ask intelligent questions you get good answers. That's pretty much what this forum is about.
 
First tip for you, bud: Get rid of the iframes for your offers, they are usually not a good idea unless you absolutely need them.

So you basically want somebody to tell you know which keywords they are using to make a profit? :uhoh2:
 
Would you be willing to simply let someone log into your adwords account and setup experimental campaigns with YOUR money? Wouldn't be any different than you doing it. Keep plugging away at it, keep mining for keys, improving your landers, and splitting everything. It sounds like you're not a noob at all just plateaud and unsure how to scale.

Probably. In fact, the real question should be : is somebody could suggest a clever way to build quick campaigns and to build landers, and on which factors you determine if it's a dud or not. (i guess when you have spent 2K with no conversion its a dud ;) lol...but yeah a quick way to find the dud and to avoid also the trash traffic from tiers. I'm trying tiers (ezanga, kanoodle, searchfeed, bidvertiser) and gosh...maybe I just don't know how to use them but its shiiiit traffic...
 
personally i would stay away from second tier guys like searchfeed and kanoodle most of their pubs are contextual guys who send in garbage traffic from everywhere on the net and they don't really have a grip on the traffic they sell. I'm sure some people make money with them but I found their traffic to be terrible.
 
sounds like you could do with exploring some other traffic sources and perhaps find out which of your AMs are going to be helpful and point you towards good offers/sources.
 
Actually, I just took a look at both your landers, good job dude they look great imo (unless you copied them, if so then fuck you for being Canadian too) :P The dating one is kinda meh though, too forced, get creative with it re the branding/graphics so it's more juicy less tech looking.

SEO isn't bad, the key's you're looking to hit are good on the teeth one, I wouldn't worry so much about how you serve the money page links.

If anything, the only thing you're probably missing in your sequence is to always have ads split testing themselves and competing against each other. Have you done that? If so are you 100% that this is THEE BEST set of ads/landers/keys? and if so - how many splits did you do, for how long, on what volume?

If you are honestly profitable with these, and have hit some consistency, and are a risk taker, get your hands on some money and double/triple/quad your efforts=bank=get out and find the next winners.

If you can't do the above, continue to test more niches, you have the formula down dude, perhaps you're overthinking it - literally just scale what you've done if it has worked and is making (even some) money.

If you absolutely need to be #1 original in that business to be successful, nobody would make any money. Just check Hollywood copying everything making the big bucks. For me, I check what's working, get inspiration, IMPROVE IT and see what's happening.

So no, for this one, no ripping at all. Original graphics from me and custom coding.

But we can continue this interesting discussion if you want :338:
