Ok, here goes,

Do networks deliberately delay payment to newbies?

Got the first payment (xx.xx) on time

Had to bug my am daily for the second payment - x,xxx (paid now)

Third payment should have landed by 09/20 xx,xxx still waiting:sadcrying4:

The thing is every time I contact her she says the wire is leaving today.

Any suggestions?

conjamuk, does your network/am tell you that payment will be late? or do they just make excuses

Advaliant.
Aanyone have a number I can use to get past the front desk?
My am has gone on vacation for 2 weeks now

Most networks have a waiting period before they send out payment. For example if you managed to make 100$ already in first couple of days, and you set your minimum payout at 100, then you might not get anything until 30 days from now, as most networks go on a billing cycle. Also most networks do not give out weekly payments especially to new signups to prevent possible exploitation of the networks (ie: incentivized when not allowed, bots etc).

PS: Went straight for the referral link eh? :D

By the way , it's right in their Terms of Service.

...
Payment will be made on or about the 45th day after the end of the month in which such Bounty(s) were earned by Publisher. No checks will be issued for any amounts less than $100 U.S.D. All un-issued Bounty will rollover to the next pay period. Company, reserves the right not to delay and/or withhold Bounty for Actions which are obtained, in the sole discretion of Company, in violation of this Agreement.
...

Out of curiosity how long did the first two payments takes? Cuz maybe your AM did ya a favor.

Thanks for the replies,

The first x,xxx payment was delayed for ages whilst the network checked lead quality with the merchants (I expect and respect that) The delay was after they agreed traffic was A1. Every day I called the response was - "you're wire is going out today"

Because I got volume up quite quickly it was agreed that I could have bi-weekly payments. Bi-weekly terms are, everything earned up to the 15th will be payed by the 20th.

No payment by the 20th so I started calling them. Up to now I have been told "theguy who presses the button is at a funeral" "the boss that authorises payment is out of the office" also been told on 4 occasions your wire is being payed today

Every time I called I was told the wire was going out today

"PS: Went straight for the referral link eh? :D"

lol, just realised you said that. No, honest, check the link. The link auto generated

Advaliant is bogus, lol.

One of the few networks that even didn't accept me, for who knows why ??!! I have stated that I am with Azoogle, Copeac, Neverblue, Clickbooth as example and provided proof such as contacts of my AMs there. And each other network, except probably Hydra (which anyway talked on phone with me, but lady said she probably approve or so, anyway it was auto-decline in e-mail cause I stated site have 0 traffic now, lol) and Motive, (didn't liked my site simply or don't have offers and said I can apply with other site in future) accepted me. Lady (this Katie) said - "we will call you" right from the start, lol. Ok, mighty Media Trust , I am waiting your call even more than call from Jesus:)

Plus aren't they stated about NET 10 right on the publisher page ?

"Consistent Payments & Great Payouts
Commission checks are bigger and checks are ALWAYS on time, monthly NET 10"

always on time, lol

Plus, I have heard from other publisher ....Take a look there
Advaliant is bogus
Also guy also admit they are not paid him on time. As well as "discovered" fraud 3 times!!! But still didn't ban him, lol

And read further, there are lot of complaints.

Go with any other like Azoogle or networks from Wicked forum, you will not regret.

"My am has gone on vacation for 2 weeks now" omg

Oh, I forgot to add in rejection e-mail it said as one of the reason "Duplicate applicant" while for sure it's not the reason for current denial probably there is no chance for me in future:)

LoL Guess I noticed the redirect as it changed.

Really fucked up about AdValient though.

Maybe when they put you on a bi-weekly, some of their advertisers disputed the charges, and are avoiding you so they either don't have to pay you or til they figure out what to do.

I might be out of line asking, but roughly how much are you waiting on ?

13k at the mo, but that's just the outstanding payment. Doesn't include earnngs since 09/15/2009

While this may be slow (any slower than their last payment promise?), you could try writing them a detailed lettered to:

Corporate Headquarters
MediaTrust
404 Park Avenue South 2nd Floor
New York NY 10016

Explain to them the details of what was arranged, who you contacted, who contact you, etc. Probably go along the lines of simply stating that effective immediately you're stopping campaigns using them, until they can assure you that as a reliable network they will pay as agreed. Perhaps express some concerns that you were seriously troubled by the series communications you received, which was odd given how highly they were recommended to you (I'm not sure how you came to know em...), etc.

That way at the very least you've established a an actual paper trail of communication if things turn to the worse, and if they respond in the same method all the better. Perhaps can also fax the exact same document, assuming you can find their fax number.

Essentially going ballistic over phone, email or mail may not help your case later.

Beyond that, I can't imagine what could be up, I'm wondering if there is a rep registered here on WF (I've seen reps of Copeac, A4D, etc etc chime in on here)

I had a similar issue with Advaliant, they ended up paying me but it took about a month. It was a little annoying because they wanted my traffic, I asked what the wire threshold was..I ran more than the threshold and the payment games began. I think they have some issues with accounting, I don't believe its anything shady...

PS: Went straight for the referral link eh? :D

That's a feature of this forum. WF autogenerates referral links for most of (probably all) the affiliate companies out there, UNLESS you override that with your own link.

So, if you just type in the name Copeac, A4D, C2M they're are all referral links automatically. If I wanted to put my own in, I have to use the anchor link button in the WYSIWYG above. Example: C2M <-- see not a referral link anymore :D

Couldn't resist using C2M as the example since Ruck posted in this thread. Don't read anything into it. :D

/edit/ weird, I thought A4D would link up as well, but it didn't.

Ok, first post. :)

Also got declined by MediaTrust/Advaliant today, since I am starting out it is understandable I suppose. However I thought they would be a better judge of character and not just go for the experience.

I gave them my presentation site where I tell them what I have done previously (being a systems developer, interested in math/statistics etc., developed system that used artificial intelligence as decision support to trade on stock market and so on), thought that would do it but no. :)

Feel a little less bad now that I read this thread heh. ;)
