I'm promoting debt relief.

I would like to place an ad in the newspaper with my phone number, so that I can qualify the person over the phone and if they qualify, I will send them to my website to sign-up. I want to do this because for the people that don't qualify, I would like to send them to my friend that repairs credit.

I'm thinking about doing this for my auto loan and payday loan affiliate programs too. I want to be able to follow up with people and see if they applied to make sure that my commission is getting tracked.

What do you feel about this?

Lacking automation and too time consuming. Do you actually want to speak to every single lead you qualify? Unless the CPA is > $100 per lead, you're wasting your time.

You could easily just ask the questions you ask on a phone on your website and have it redirect to offer 1 or offer 2

I'd get it OK'D by your affiliate network first... That's all I'm gonna' say about that. I think there are much smarter ways than pulling people over unless your on hellava' saleman pushing really big biz opps.
