Anyone remember surge? whatever happened to surge?

This was definitely my favorite, as well. I think there were rumors that they were going to rebrand it as something else with the same flavor, but I haven't had anything that tasted as good as Surge.
Surge wasn't bad but it was just another soda from Coca-Cola Co to try and get some of the market share away from Pepsi Co's Mountain Dew. They also tried Mellow Yellow, Citra, Vault and others. Must be a Hard product to beat!
More like carbonated orange juice, but I guess you could call it a 'soda'.
I always said pop though. Only when I went to the states for my first time did I realize people say soda, the waitress didn't even know what pop was.

Real Sugar (or natural sweetener such as Honey) + Micro Brewed = Real Soda

I have a passion for "Cherry" or "Black Cherry" flavored Soda and I'll tell you, I've tried about 20 different brands or so, Some cheap some Premium and the best by FAR is "Best Choice - Black Cherry Soda" Its like $1.99 for a 12 pack and that is the best little 12 pack of crack you'll ever buy.
Too bad they don't sell it around here, I have to have it shipped in from Missouri..

Have you tried Virgil's Black Cherry Cream Soda?
I'm don't drink much cherry flavored soda , but I think Virgil's is very good.
)Dr. Pepper with cane sugar - the way most all sodas should be made.
I say "most all" because one of my favorites, Sprecher Brewery, does not use cane sugar for whatever reason...they do add real honey, & vanilla, and are brewed in a gas fired kettle, so I can forgive them for using the fructose corn syrup.
