I know split testing is key, but it occurs to me that AdWords could punish you for it. I believe part of Quality Score is determined by where your content is totally unique, so by creating a second landing page that's very similar with just a couple tweaks, it seems like you're lowering your QS on your original LP and therefore raising your CPCs and/or lowering CTR?

Is this a valid concern? The more I read (and the more I buy ads!) the more I think AdWords is a waste of time...

not a problem. dont worry about it lowering your quality score...

Adwords is definitely not a waste of time, but if you're running affiliate stuff be ready for some problems... they dont like it.

yep... adwords banned me last week for running rebills. but honestly both sites i was using had dup content from yahoo answers as blog posts. my QS's were 7 and above, so i wouldnt worry about it.

my post wasnt useless at all. i was reinforcing what you said on both accounts. this is a forum dude, you're suppose to be discussing things and i was giving him my input. dunno what you have against me but at least i try to contribute to this community instead of some of the other shit said around here.
