Anybody running any offers right now? I'm wondering whether the Xmas rush affects e-book sales or not.

Well, I don't know about the rest of you, but some of my fondest memories as a child was waking up christmas morning and running to the tree to unwrap my "WOW leveling guide" e-book or my "How to work at home making greeting cards" e-book. Ahhhh those were good times. I miss my childhood...

Overall, I believe e-commerce during December is highly concentrated to several key niches. Engaging, strategically planned marketing efforts could draw people to splash their creditcards on a service/product but otherwise I believe mainstream sales are not that great...

I remember last December one of my websites that used to have a steady ~100 sales a day had no more than FOUR on first Christmas day :(

Depends on the niche you're pushing I would say. I've noticed a drop off compared to previous 3 mths, but could just be the products life cycle to.
I am seeing more refunds right now than usual, which is probably because people looking for extra xmas cash.

HAHA He's right you know. E-books are the hottest items at this time of year.

I am older than most of the people here, so when I was a kid those were all in black and white.

Seriously, you could probably do ok with some "credit fix" or WHM stuff in January. Think about it. Everybody's broke, facing big cc bills, and stressed out because they have to go to their awful jobs.

Amazon and Ebay type sites are way up, anything that guarantees fast shipping, obviously. I don't think people buy each other e-books for Xmas, so I'd say CB trends stay normal.

christmas day around 6pm EST internet traffic skyrockets. people get sick of their families and buy shit online. working for a network i used to laugh at the crazy traffic spikes.

previously working as a major competitor to clickbank, yes i can say that the christmas season makes for a big boost. it'll go from christmas day until the end of february. that's the highest traffic time of the year.

This! Ah.... the good old days of putting up a shitty review site for the [INSERT NEWEST VIDEO GAME SYSTEM] game download sites. Traffic and sales would go ballistic on Christmas night :2drinkspit:

I just did all my Christmas shopping online yesterday at Clickbank.

I don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Everyone on my Christmas list got a $97 ebook.

I could have saved you that $97 and found all the pdf's for you just by using the site:clickbankproduct.com filetype:pdf in Google Search.:smilie_weihn_winki:
