this might be jumping slightly forward but once you've found your niche i recommend checking out the "crowd conversion" system by Robert Grant.

i found it to be pretty cool and useful. im not affiliated in any way and this isnt a plug or anything, just thought it might help.

Read zac johnson's blog and search his posts for facebook. It's absolutely rediculous the kind of information he drops about profitable facebook campaigns. He flat out gives them out. All the knowledge i've aquired about facebook ads was by reading first and testing second.
