NEW Facebook Ads

Bidding in non-US countries is completely fucked up for me too.

Bidding 7 times the suggested CPC and still getting only a few 100 imps a day. Actual CPC turns out the be about 3 times the suggested.

Ad Creation has been fucked for close to a week.

i havent had any problems with ad creation or bidding recently... try a different browser for creating ads- im currently using chrome

Bids are through the roof in all countries. Multiple dollars per click to get decent impressions for new campaigns. There must be a shit ton of folks battling for dating impressions right now, I'm seeing 7-8x what was required in the Nov. timeframe.

shouldn't be surprised at that

new ftc laws > rebills < dating, followed by
Visa/Mastercard > rebills < dating

I have a facebook dating question, about just the content that facebook allows...

Terms:
"The product or service being advertised must be targeted to the appropriate, relevant audience: users aged 18 or older and who have listed their relationship status as single. The ad must also be targeted to users of exactly one gender ("Sex") and one sexual preference ("Interested In"). In addition, the image on your ad may not be provocative or inappropriate. Lastly, the ad text or image must clearly state and represent the company or product that is being advertised. If you choose to submit this ad again, please make the necessary changes so that it adheres to all of Facebook's Advertising Guidelines."

I have the age requirement, man seeking woman, interested in women, all the images are generic couple images and the link isn't misleading, but they still declined me...

"clearly state and represent the company or product that is being advertised."

Does that mean in the text I have to have the dating network I'm advertising for?

For now I'm just going to resubmit and see what happens, but maybe someone who has gotten a dating ad through could give me some insight?

I'm not asking what works as far as CTR but what Facebook approves.

Make sure you target people who are "single" :338:

...and also make sure your copy isn't too short - I just had about 80 ads disapproved because the clarity just wasn't there.
