of course as soon as I open a thread I figure out the problem. Fuck you Murphy! Was only giving me links from Uganda, of which there were none.
CJ has the quality advertisers. Sucks they banned you.

I've seen people accidentally filter their list like this many times before (I used to manage some CJ programs), yet in my own account I haven't done that in the last 4 years I've had that account... Did you happen to go to target area, and type "U" to start filtering down to the Us, and just not click off of Uganda?
Yep, that'll do it. It's annoying that the search preferences get applied to every "Get Links" section of the site, and there's no way to realize that you're filtered (other than noticing that no links are showing up). After I clicked "text link" or "banner link", I had to go under the advanced search, uncheck uganda and reselect US.
CJ.com is solid for selling merchandise, but not the best affiliate prospect out there. I was doing business with them back in 2001 and one day they up and decided they didn't support the merchant I was doing leads for anymore and cut my commission on it, in exchange for the $40,000 they owed me they sent me a wooden whistle saying 'congrats on being a great affiliate!". I don't see why you guys even mess with being an affiliate, no money in it. You would bust your chops to make $20k a month when you can make that a lot easier doing other things.
What do you mean, it's a lot more than the Home Depot or Best Buy? CJ isn't a merchant, CJ is a network - and Home Depot and Best Buy both have programs in CJ. If you find an item on the Home Depot or Best Buy website, the price will be the same whether or not you click through a CJ link...Most of the major purchases I have made I looked up on CJ - in the past year or two I have looked at all of these....
-Kids swingset
-Every household appliance (built a new house)
-bed
-Large-ass stainless steel grill
And all of them were about 25% more than the price I got them for which was usually the non-sale price.
I'm not sure how people sell that stuff when it's a lot more than the Home Depot/Best Buy/etc.

I do 6 figures of commissions each year with CJ, so clearly they do pay commissions. I've also worked at an agency that does affiliate management & the numbers showing up in CJ were always within 1-5% of the numbers that showed up on our advertisers' backends. It's hard to believe that you can make money promoting your own campaign. I've used CJ for 3 years and I myself have done everything from purchase Web Hosting to clothing at Banana Republic using my links and have not been paid a dime - as they track you. So, to say you made $$$$ from CJ using your own banners is BS. Move along friend...
