Product Sellers Forum?

i was just thinking the same thing the other day.

would be nice to start one, but then id prolly never been on WF again =D

I can see that there are few people interested here, why don't you guys round up and open private forum? I'm member of one private forum that have 20 members, and knowledge share is phenomenal, all mask are down, and every one is willing to share everything that he know with other members. Some of us writing small journals... And all of us become close friends. 20 members, no more, quality over quantity. And not every guy is on top level, there are few beginners too, but most of us is on mid level.
Note: ^^that forum is not about internet marketing, is on one other subject... i'm working on that to make small strong private forum about IM just from my country based on that^ model...

I'll run it if we can get a solid group.

Let's see what kind of group we can get together. Send me a PM if you are interested.

mods, if you have any issues with us organizing a private product sellers forum here just let me know and i will stop

Nice one. 100% agreed. The amount I've learnt from info products could make some of you puke (and I don't consider myself to know much). Not $97 'ebook' info products. But real educational business and marketing products from people on inc 500 lists. I love em.

Deffo.

It's all good sodomising yourself at the other WF, but it's too busy with idiots. Too many people with an axe to grind and who would rather be right and argue instead of focussing on making it rain.

I'm literally looking for serious folks on the level who all understand that it's great to bank, and want to share ideas on how to do it harder.

We need a section here for product owners. Deffo will hit folks up, if they wanna talk, until then.

Since I don't give a fuck about being flamed, I'll say this: don't discount Warrior Forum. I found my present JV partner there. His family controls one of the leading retailers in Europe (on the UK rich list).

JVNotify pro has alot of "make money online noise) but you can hook up with some people that have mailing lists worth 8 figures.

I'd also recommend Charlie Page's Directory of Ezines where you can hook up with ezine advertisers - one of the best kept secrets in digital marketing. He charges about $500/hr. I got a free consultation from him on how to split test opt-in boxes. Who would have thought of that? Anyway, I did what he said and made about $180 for 15mins of work.

I would also recommend Traffic Geyser. People can knock the Frank Kerns and Tony Robbins of the world but when you are worth mid 8 figures would you give a fuck what people thought?

I study them religiously. In particular, frank Kerns is a fucking genius when it comes to his upselling, backend selling, cross selling and list monetization.

The think I have found about Warrior Forum is that you have to find out who members are selling to. If someone just left 3M or Goldman and is now hawking a $2,000 webinar to derivatives traders or Off Shore Tax lawyers and they are consistently selling out, they know something about what they are doing.

Not only that, if you ever go for external financing (check out what the guys at Posterous just pulled in this weekend) the Street understands info products - they know they are infinitely scalable. One good webinar can be sold to 1000 people for practically the same price as 10 people (check out Home | The Corporate Executive Board for a sweet recurring, residual revenue info product biz model)....

just IMHO of course....

I don't know if I should post this because it was a big, miserable flop for me.

I used to work in a financial niche before I discovered the wonderful world of online lead generation. I know how to generate leads for that niche now, and when I talk to anybody who still actively works it, they all want to know how to do it, or they want to buy leads.

I am very happy just selling leads to a national lead company, even if it is wholesale - because it removes me from the agony of handling the other side of the business - i.e. billing, customer service to lead buyers, etc.

I also sold some products still, using my own internet generated leads, and that worked out very well.

I thought that a quick info product explaining the steps to take to start understanding the internet, target marketing, etc. so they can start generating their own niche leads in local markets would be a great idea because they all seemed so interested. Big flop.

I still think it is a good idea, and that my product was very reasonable for the price. But I just don't get how to do this.

i made one at (edit: i wanna keep it private, PM me for the URL).

i am really busy today and havnt been able to acctually do anything to it, so sign up and i will set it up shortly

I have one too actually,

Started it 3 years ago as an affiliate support forum for my products (yes, info products, and what!). Soon outgrew me, and is now a VIP forum with only big guns, big launches, a mix of WF/WF but no noob shit because it's paid. Have kept quiet about it and don't want to spam it so feel free to reach out or get me pemission to post it and I'll hook people with decent post count up for free (currently $70 to get in). has 3000+, all mid-high level earners.

I won't post the what/why/how great it is, you judge for yourself.

I'm sure there are lots of ways to crack that nut, but do you want to emulate Frank Kern's model? If mid 8 figures is your goal then by all means, sell that oil. Personally, I'd like to think bigger.

I hear ya. I don't discount the Worrier Forum, but the noise/signal ratio there is real high. I've learnt plenty there, but I was really looking for someplace without the extra noise.

Right now I'm checking out the leads in this thread. Updates to come. Keep adding your ideas below too.

The noise there is because someone let the pre-schoolers SPEAK!

We have moved over entirely to product selling these days. I used to do a lot of affiliate marketing, but the profitability of running your own shit is so much higher that it's crazy to not be doing it yourself. We did some RFT stuff, but didn't really like it much so now we've switched to a straight CPS, and if you know how to market then you can achieve similar EPC's as before. It's twice as profitable for us without the headaches.

The volume that is available if you know the right people to talk to is incredible. Info products may take some flak in this forum, but that just shows how few people are aware of how profitable they can be. We're not talking about the "gurus" who sell a few hundred copies of a course and then they're done. We're talking about people selling a product for a few hundred bucks at a volume of 1000's per day.

The problem is the people who are doing this are not really likely to talk about it. If you guys are setting up a private forum to talk about this stuff let me know as I'd love to talk to people who are doing the same things we are. It's always useful to share contacts and resources.

I sell physical goods that i import myself and re-brand, so I'm willing to share a lot more info about how and what I do. So to whore my blog out a bit, everything I do is explained there. It's in my sig :)

Not emulate - but appreciate.

People can knock him all they want - but when it comes down to it he sells out of whatever the fuck he sells every single time. There's a lot to be learned from him if you want to be the face of whatever product you're selling in the future.

...Also hope no one is nieve enough to believe in the surfer thing he has going on. He is a religious student of Dan Kennedy, the late Gary Halbert, and knows his shit when it comes to NLP.

Fundamentals that he teaches, which are basically just the teachings of direct response guys put into an internet marketing form, can be used to sell more of anything online whether through an e-commerce, flog, or gasp an actual e-book and are worth the money IMO (although not worth the orgasms many have over them).

Does anyone here import products from outside the US into the US and is familiar with the process? I have a few questions to ask if anyone knows about this.
