Hey guys,

I'm just trying to get started with this, I've never done it before. I have $110 in my adwords account (from a coupon). What kind of offers are the best to get started with? Can I do free offers with adwords? Direct linking is fine right? Just trying to learn by doing, but I want to start in the right direction. I want to try FB ads too, but I figure I might as well kill the adwords credit I have.

Not necessarily, depends on the offer and the ads, one campaign I've been running since December always has a QS floating between 7/10 - 10/10 (usually on the 10/10 side after a day or two when the ad has shown a good CTR)
 
Just made my first commission, I'm hooked ;)

I tried direct linking and it worked, but I blew through my first $30 and my quality score sucks ass. Guess it's time to get working on a landing page!
 
Main reason to use LP is to increase your QS therefore lowering your costs = a good thing

Yep, working on it now. Have a feeling this will be a big learning experience trying to figure out exactly what kind of content to put in and how much.

That's not the only reason. sometimes you have to pre-sell your visitors, like with things like acai . Your sales would be in the basement if you direct linked.
