NEW Facebook Ads

Looks like it is still fucked. I just spent all day submitting dating ads only to now look back and my "single" setting was changed to "all". I am 100% positive it was set fine, but Facebook is not saving the setting.

Jesus Christ Facebook a monkey programs better.

UPDATE: I think it is actually the 4hour affiliate ads manager breaking Facebook somehow. When I manually create an ad it saves the single setting, but when I use the plug in it chooses "single" still but it never updates on the Facebook side of things even though I can see it chosen as the radio button.

Same here. I guess another fix is needed.

Damn it. I was just getting my credit up and then BANG retro-disapproval.

Yesterday it would take 5 mins to get ads approved and today many many hours and then disapproval for something about the text (nothing is wrong with the text, I have checked and rechecked against their TOS) :(

Do they not want our money?

So I guess these cocksuckers don't want our money...

I got a letter warning me to remove all age-targeted ads. Well at least that's what I'm reading into it. The actual warning is so fucking vague, something about user attributes.

Would it kill them to tell me EXACTLY what they don't like about my ads?

Do you list the ages you're targeting in your ad? During my Facebook Advertising lifetime, I've probably submitted about 10,000 ads or so with ages being listed in the ad, and never got a single one approved.

I finally decided to give facebook another try and my ads have been pending for nearly 24 hours... This shit isn't normal is it? I'm guessing it's because I haven't advertised on there in ages...

Yeah it is, and if they you think they may be against their TOS they will take even longer to just disapprove them its ridiculous.

I was looking for a good way to split up the states for targeting on FB. At first I was gonna do NE, SE, SW, NW, but that didn't really make sense for the interwebs.

DMA wasn't an option either, good for TV, but not FB.

Then I found this:

Facebook profiles for places

DING! Based on FB fanpages. Enjoy...

Works with cities and countries too.

has anyone found a way to track w/out using FB's conversion beta or creating brand-new ads (instead of using the "create similar" button)?

just spent a couple hours putting up ads last night and thought I was more tired than I thought when I double checked all my subIDs and none of them had changed.

Probably a stupid question but here it is anyways. If I pause pending ads will they still go through the approval process? I ask because they are taking more than 24 hours to approve my ads and I don't want them to start running if I'm not around to see what's going on. This happened to me today.

you can definitely pause a campaign and they still get approved, not sure about the actual ad, maybe someone can chime in.
