Hi, I am trying to get my feet wet and looking for a hosting company.

Since I don't even know if I'll make any money I wanted to know how complicated would it be to move my site to a dedicated server after some time? Would hostgator decide to cause any problems?

I also read some horror stories of hostgator from a long time ago, about them stealing their customer's site if they think it would worth it and if the person doesn't have the resources to sue them. Am I worrying for no reason?

I've had no problems with Hostgator what-so-ever. They get my seal of approval.

If you're really worried go with some one else. Volsh and Zensix are run by people who frequent this forum. Just don't buy hosting off eBay, support can be a nightmare.

Well... I have been using them for a couple of years now. And I must say: "They are one of the best".

Great Support
99.99% Up-time
Cheap Hosting

Someone mentioned in this forum a few weeks ago that you can sign up to hostgator through your own cj affiliate link.

I would be glad to know how you can do it without getting caught.

I also recommend hostgator, anytime i have screwed something up they have fixed it quickly for me.

ppc.bz is on hostgator. i have the reseller package tho.

buy it through your own cj link and you basically get it for free for a few months.

Won't hostgator notice that your papyal account information is similar to your cj account?

2 different emails fool.

it's not a big deal but when i signed up i realized they had their program on cj so i just went through my own link. if you're new you might as well do it and not be out too much $

Hostgator is great.

One of my servers has slowed down in the last few months, but its been great for years. The others are still cruisin along.

The one thing I dislike about hostgator is the damn mod sec. It's easy enough to get them to whitelist, but its always another added step when setting up new sites. This is really not a problem, but a small inconvenience.

For shared hosting it's pretty good, pretty reliable. Been using them to host a few bullshit sites for about 2 years.

There is a reason why Hostgator is so hyped everywhere = they are great. Seriously, if you are looking for normal shared hosting they are outstanding. I have had a bunch of smaller hosts and nothing compares to Hostgator reliability. I also have Bluehost and they are pretty good but performance seems to be better with Hostgator
