Ok, Pretty much I figured this would appeal to a bunch of you media buyers out there. Over the past few months we've had a team of guys developing a system of spiders that would scrub all useful advertising data from websites we point them at.

I won't go deep into details about our system because who wants to read a novel. But we grab and organize ads in a database... basically allowing us to answer the question of "Can someone tell me exactly what is proven to work... and where?"

This allows someone to track and organize ads on multiple sites that you advertise on, or thinking about advertising on. By testing our service you will instantly see our database history on any given site, and be able to tell immediately what has been primarily advertised on those websites. Not only can you see what niches have performed well, but also see EXACTLY what ads have been performing the best. This will save countless hours of your time and give awesome optimization power. Something that would be a huge pain in the ass to compile and organize on a continual basis by yourself. Most importantly it allows our users to keep close tabs on all competition, seeing what is working for others so one may innovate and improve on what is already proven to be effective.

The goal here is to make Media Buy Spy a service that is extremely valuable to anyone who participates with Media Buying.

Currently our system only works for text ads, but we plan to expand it to banner ads as well.

We currently have 8 spots remaining. Also I felt it was worth noting, we are not approving everyone... so the more detailed your email to us is, the better your chances. We are going to selective with the applicants because we want to get the best quality feedback possible.

Do you mean by the fact that big affiliate media buyers are doing more and more of there volume based on targeting people with certain cookies and not direct site placements?

In the future I believe most of the display media I'll be buying won't be targeted at sites but targeted at users based on cookies. Can't rip that shit as easy :p
 
I think xmcp is trying to say you're gonna get gamed.

Trusting third parties to look after all my ads/splits and management with a web-based solution. And you point out exactly how/where I make my money.. . .. . Hackers paradise in the making and the owners sitting on some seriously valuable data.

It's a cool idea just sounds a bit scary from my pov

No he is saying that something better is out there. its the unicorn of scrapers. You hear about it, you talk about it, you wanna see it, I know it exists and I've talked to people who have seen it. Its god like.
 
I'm interested in this bad boy,

I always thought about something like this, I have a large list of media companies inventory that they buy direct. Just never put it together.
