in other news i watched it and it was awesome, but i was drunk as shit in a sports bar with people screaming, and dumbass americans making us look bad shouting U S AA U S A.

i also thought it was funny at the beginning when they showed englad all hardcore like during their anthem, then it showed us and they have their hands on eachothers shoulders and all their faces looks like a lot of little pussies lol
 
All of tonight did not find one person who was talking about the match. Did not find one person even remotely interested.

Had some dumb ass even asked me what I thought, he probably would have been kicked in the nuts. Fuck soccer, we just don't give a shit.

Thank you for this valuable contribution to the thread. You care so little about soccer that you go into every single soccer related thread just to talk about how little you care about it.

In the UK we don't care about basketball, have you EVER seen someone from the UK who doesn't care about or watch basketball constantly going into basketball threads and forums talking about how much they hate it/don't care about it? No.. So why do so many Americans feel the need to do it with soccer? You're just further solidifying stereotypes about Americans being stupid, arrogant and close minded. And I know you don't care about that, why would you? You're the greatest country in the world, USA #1..

I'm not even a big soccer fan (I hardly ever watch it and don't really follow a team) but when I see retardedness like this I have to comment.

im pretty sure if someone posted about basketball on a predominantly british forum there would be negative posts from fellow brits.
 
I know it was ages ago but the war debate earlier was just fucking stupid, on both sides. Yes America is a far more powerful country. Well fucking done.

But using the war for independence as an example of how USA is better at war is like saying that Viet Nam is better at war than USA. Both wars are similar in that the supposedly more powerful side was fighting in a country very far away, with little motivation to be doing so, and eventually gives up. Big deal.

EDIT: A win isn't a win in war unless you successfully occupy a country, or you successfully counter-attack to annihilate a country that attacked you. If the new USA had tried to sail an army over to the UK after the war of independence, they wouldn't have made it 100 miles off the coast before being fucked up the arse. Even if they had made it to Britain, they would then have been fucked up the arse by a well trained and supplied army, used to fighting and beating Napoleon's forces that would have made a cobbled up American army look pathetic.
