Very high quality traffic, too.

I copied the exact landing page used from the advertiser and put in my own Aweber field. I received a 45% conversion rate!

I was paid $48 from Globalizer instead of $540.

Fuck the networks. :angryfire:

Here's what Globalizer replied with when I gave them this information...

Hi,

 I would expect to see higher conversions after 200-300 clicks. What traffic source are you using?

 I see some leads today! It looks like things are headed in the right direction.

People, if you have any doubt about a campaign that you're running, copy the advertisers landing page and insert your own submit field and test it on your own!!
 


did you try other networks then just one network before you complain? did you register a new account just to complain about this?
 
$540 from 16 conversions to a zip submit? Who's the retard paying you $33.75 for someone's zip code?

Zip submit. Advertiser has a set scrub % based on the history of how well the users convert on the backend. 'tis how the world turns.

Just make a newsletter and send it to the emails you're catching in aweber if you aren't already, you seem smart enough to already be doing that though.

No, this was the first auto insurance zip submit I have ever attempted.

I was just referred to this forum from a friend, so no, I didn't register a new account just to complain.

I just thought I'd give people a heads up to test on their own if they have any doubts about a campaign.

I meant, if I had the same conversions on my own as I did with the network, they would have paid me $540 at $3 per zip submit (45% of 400 = 180).

Yeah, I am quickly learning about the shaving. Usually, I promote my own products, but I thought I'd try out some affiliate offers to see if I can find any profitable campaigns for some side income.

I'm thinking about sending the visitor to a list of insurance providers after they submit their zip... just like the advertiser is doing on Globalizer. I just wanted to see how bad they were screwing me first.

why would they trust u, when u come as an individual with leads trying to sell them when they can easily get them from cpa networks and also scrub at same time. they profit big time, they cant scrub your leads lul

I'm not taking sides here, but I do want to point out one flaw in your metrics. The merchant is no doubt verifying the state of the zip code against the state of the IP address of the surfer who entered their zip code. If they don't match, they aren't counting the lead. If you aren't even doing something as simple as making sure a valid zip code is entered, your numbers will be artificially high.

While that certainly won't make up the difference, it will drop your number from 45% conversion rather signficantly as many people who enter ZIP's just enter crap to see what's on page2.
