I can understand the business model behind financing merchants/advertisers, but I'm not so sure when it comes to affiliates. Media/traffic buys can be expensive and can cost affiliates a very large percentage of the CPA rate they're getting on a campaign. How much are affiliates realistically going to want to pay back as interest on what will effectively be loans? What if the affiliate loses money on the media buy and can't repay the loan? Authorise.com is certainly not going to give out this capital with no financial benefit to themselves.

Why would you finance a media buy?

This is an absurd idea to begin with...

If affiliate's don't have money to finance media buy themselves, then most likely, they don't have knowledge of getting profitable media buys in the first place...

Sounds like a perfect recipe for disaster...

Sounds like a good way to get your campaigns jacked. I doubt they're going to finance a campaign without knowing:

a) the offer
b) your lander
c) past stats
d) your traffic sources
