hey guys, im new to this online marketing business. I started doing some research on affiliate marketing, and i got very interested. I have been doing alot of reading, research and trying to understand alot of this stuff but its a little overwhelming. I also came across this site and started reading up some of the newbie posts on here. But im still a little in the dark. So if you guys could help me with any sort of input it would be greatly appricated. thanks

Also you do not need to buy any software people offer you. First you must learn to do everything manually then you can start automating.

I suggest you also read the newbie posts for the last 20 pages. You will get some answers for a lot of potential questions.
 
wiredniko, i have actually been reading the journal post u have up. I've read alot of the newbie guides from here, they are helpful but still a little confusing for me. I have tryed some thing already, i have a website already, but the hard thing is getting people to view it, click on it, do something on it. Btw i have no prior computer experience, which might be a bad thng
 
i havent bought any software, but i did payto get the site done. Just because i have no experience in building a webpage

I agree with Kimboslice. No offense but no one will spend time teaching you step by step what to do.

If you think that buying a site or creating a site and magically people will show up to it...good luck.

Read, read, read, read. That's the best suggestion that can be given.
 
hey guys, i read the nickycakes.com newbie guide. It was a very good learning tutorial. So i set up the prosper202 tracking software, now i just have to get it up and running.

I think if you established some goals we may be able to help you better
 
Test while you learn and read, as the biggest mistake i see newbies make is they keep waiting for the perfect guide / outline to follow step to step to riches. It DOES NOT EXIST.

Start testing traffic sources, landing pages, offers, etc. And from DAY 1, make sure you have tracking in place to anaylze your data. Without it you will never be able to compete.

ok, I took everybody advice and read some more info. Im trying to put together a landing page now and see how it works out.

a quick question, sorry it might be an ultra newbie question, how does a landing page work? is it a page that I send the customer to before they get to my page?
