i read in the terms this whihc i find disturbing:

In the event of non-payment by a Merchant, and If MaxBounty elects in its own discretion not to make payment to Affiliate, an Affiliate's recourse for any earned commissions not paid shall be to make a claim against the relevant Advertiser(s), and MaxBounty disclaims any and all liability for such payment. 6.3. MaxBounty or the Advertiser may reverse any Action generated by the Affiliate. Circumstances for Action reversals include but are not limited to duplicate Actions, fraudulently generated Actions, non-payment, Affiliate's failure to comply with the Agreement, or product returns. Reversals may be applied at any time, including for Actions during a period where payment has already been issued to the Affiliate.

So if an advertiser decides to stiff you, you have to resolve it with the advertiser and you may not get paid? Has this happened to anyone using a CPA network?

This is in every ad network, CPM network and any other network out there. Most dont enforce it but keep it there in case of a large amount being stiffed by the advertiser. I cant speak for max bounty but we have never enforced this rule and have a few advertisers who havent paid us.

i've heard good and bad about maxbounty. However, I have been with them for close to 2 years and always received payment and on time as well

I don't like them for no other reason than the best they can come up with for a tag line is: "maxbounty, the cpa network for affiliates" or something just as stupid! they post here but don't get into the WF spirit so I flame them!

Wow... where's the love I've come to expect from wicked fire? :)

Yes, those are terms are in place as a JUST IN CASE and are rarely enforced.... and it's true that all networks have them in place.

If you're considering us, I welcome you to search Wicked Fire, DigitalPoint.com and the rest of the respected forums for feedback on us. I think you'll find that we're fair, we pay, and value of our affiliates.

Are you talking about Earners Forum? I don't know about this guy.

When I am in need for an ad network, hear many people speaking about them, hear good stories about them, I will sign up... (I think Maxbounty belongs in this category), but to be honest I never ever checked 'terms & conditions' of an ad network. This is just standard stuff! :)

I signed up with Max Bounty some time ago, and was turned off fairly early by the setup. It's one of the more annoying interfaces out there.

Then I got an email the other day that at first sounded like it was from a real person "concerned about that I'm not running any of their campaigns, yada yada" so, I replied with "send me your best offers in these 3 niches".

Well, 3 days later...I got a reply with about 6 offers. The thing that irritated me the most was the line in the first email about how they have the best payouts, blah blah blah. So, when I got the offers, needless to say I was more than a little irritated to see that they weren't even on par with Azoogle, Copeac, Millnic, et al. In fact on offer was almost $5 less than the same one I was running with Copeac!

So...I can't say I have a very positive view of MaxBounty. Sorry.

There's really nothing negative I've read about MaxBounty that doesn't apply equally to other networks like Azoogle or Copeac. You need to look at people's motivations and connections when they're promoting or bashing one company or the other.
