Super affiliates that offer consulting?

Hello,

I'm looking for guidance on ways I can promote a network of sites. I'm not new to this game, but I would like to hire someone like Shoemoney or John Chow to give some pointers on ways to take a web site to the next level from a marketing standpoint.

Anyone know of such affiliates that offer a consulting service?

You'd be surprised the kind of useful info you can get for free if you just chat up the right people - way better then anything you would probably pay $500 a hour to someone else for.

It's kind of funny that it works out that the best info from the most knowledge people is completely free. But if you understand marketing and how people are it makes perfect sense.

What exactly do you mean "promote a network of sites"? Do you have a good monetization method once people get to the sites? That's what I'd be worried about first. A site that makes a ton of money from a visitor has more options for promotion then something that makes next to nothing off of a visitor. If you don't have that worked out.... well unless you are VC funded you are looking at just organic traffic pretty much.
 
You're just going to get taken for x,xxx to be taught some nonsense. Nobody that's killing it has time to take your 5-10K and teach you all their tricks, or selective ones. You're better off taking an actual biz course or dumping that money into campaign testing.

Bottom line, nobody is going to give you a cookie cutter blueprint to success for some money, no matter what their perceived status is. If they do = they need the money, or that's what they do for a living, swindle new guys into outsourced curriculum by sales floors...

Just be patient and absorb the curriculum/testing yourself. If you have money you can do a lot more than most with tons of skills but no biz sense or plan... do your own trial/error you'll go places. Someone showing you the shortcuts (especially your two idols) is going to leave you with tons of questions later on.

Seriously how much do you think their time is worth and where it is best spent if they are actually making money and scaling?

Unless they hired a bunch of underlings to consult under their name brand, guru-style. Good luck with that help!

goto all the conferences, get everyone you can drunk, write all your trips and drinks off. And then yell "SNATCH" after everytime someone gives you some "IM advice".

John chow's blog might be useless, but I have heard that he is really good on getting the most money out of his traffic.

You don't need consultant, just read up the stickys and spend money on testing, you'll eventually win the race.
