Offline referrals - Tracking them online

Hey,

We are looking for offline referrals tracking solution.
I was asked to find a offline referrals tracking solution for in house service provider.
The way it will work:

  1. affiliates will send customers to us by mainly by phone.
  2. The customer will give us the referrer code or name.
  3. We will add his information into our current CRM program.
  4. After the service is done, the referrer will get his commission.

We want to let the referrer an easy way to track his referrals. He should be able to log into his affiliate account and see a complete log: customer name, address, and amount of commission he will get when the job is done.
It's also important that we can change the job status from open to closed, because we only pay the referrer AFTER the job is done (and not when customer is booking the service)

I tried to use IDevAffiliate, but it's too complicated for our use (we don't have online affiliate program) and secondly, it lacks the option for affiliates to track their commission by name of customer, only by order number (which is fine for us, as we have it in our CRM, but the affiliate have nothing to do with it)

Do you guys know of any solution which suits our needs?

I hope i was clear enough in my post, ask if you need clarifications.

IfByPhone.com could probably handle something like this. They do call tracking and dynamic insertion for testing, which could probably be set up for different affiliates.
 
hey cheesewhiz,

this solution is somehow to complex for our req's.
We already have special number for this referral program. Now we only need a way to track referrals commissions and let the affiliates see reports online.

Yeah, maybe a bunch of Google Voice numbers redirected to the number you already have set up. Not sure if GV is still referral only but I bought a bunch of numbers back in the day for like $1 or $2 each. This would be pretty ghetto though (if you're worried about looking legit) and I don't think I would ever do this on a large scale.
