I love this little preacher in Florida organizing a "Burn The Koran" day and he's got some serious balls. What's even more ridiculous is that this little nobody at some tiny church has the fucking Vatican, Obama, Clinton, Afghanistan, etc... trying to fucking intimidate him.

When they wanted to build a mosque at Ground Zero, Obama bent over backwards to assert their right to build it under freedom of religion. All we heard from the dumbfuck libs here was "It's their right!!! ZOMGG!!!"

Then when this guy wants to burn a fucking book, Obama suddenly thinks its "wrong" to do it and he shouldn't do it.

People don't get it. This guy is exposing Islam for what it is. Building this mosque will not result in the mass deaths of Muslims, no matter what HuffPo tries to hammer into the soft brains of the useful idiots. But burning a Koran almost certainly will, in fact Petraeus is so certain of it he's counseling against it. General Petraeus, the fucking general in Afghanistan, is telling this random nobody in Florida that his little act will set off the fucking Muslim loons.

I say burn away. Burn a thousand of them. Show that Christians can have a fucking "art exhibit" show their holy book in urine and not respond like psychotic children, while Muslims can't even see a cartoon of Mohammed with a bomb in his turban without unleashing their inner psycho.

Props to Terry Jones in Florida for his brass balls. Dude's fucking legit.

Interesting. If the government believes in separation of church and state; what does it say when they allow us to burn our own flag, but not a religious book when demonstrating the same type of protest?
 
That's the great thing about property. If you own the title on land, you get to build a mosque. If you own a holy book, you get to burn it. It's your right. Doesn't matter what your neighbor thinks.

As for this "burn a koran day," it's a spectacle. Pure drama. Nothing more. It'll be forgotten by November. The new season of Dancing With The Stars has more longevity than this thing. For now, though, it's a piece of juicy meat for the talking heads trying to fill the news cycle.

That's because there's nothing to debate. If you agree that burning books is a good idea, you're a fucking retard. End of debate.

I don't really get the analogy with the Ground Zero mosque. I mean it's not like the area is being held as sacred ground, they were planning the new tower within a year of the event.

The closest thing I can really relate it to for us indifferent westerners I guess would be Muslims digging up the war dead and setting fire to the corpses. We don't really tend to hold many physical things sacred, but the dead we do, especially soldiers.

I don't think that's the point at all. Of course this is a bad idea. Of course it's in bad taste and disrespectful. Of course it's being done for no other reason than to rile up Muslims. That all is pretty clear to any rational thinking person.

The point is, how the radical segment of the Muslim population reacts to bullshit like this. Up for debate how much of a percentage that segment is.
