See... that's the real enemy that christians, muslims, jews, hindus, etc etc of faith have in common. That's a real marxist view.
Sorry, but you're an idiot if you think rejection of an absurd, baseless, unevidenced explanation of the universe has anything to do with a social or political stance.
All it takes to reject religious claims is to look at what you know about the universe and what you know about ancient people, and use this knowledge with a little common sense to see that the way our ancestors described the world doesn't match up with what we know now. And if you understand anything about people you can also explain *why* they made these silly, outrageous claims, in terms of history, geography, psychology and sociology.
The world makes perfect sense if you take god out of the equation. If you put him into the equation however, very little in this world makes sense and you have to invent all sorts of weird, convoluted, delusional crap to explain things, which always leads to the ultimate cop-out: "Well, of course it doesn't make sense to us; we can't understand the mind of a god" or "God works in mysterious ways." Pfff.
Test your faith by watching the de-conversion series and to allow yourself to be asked serious questions about your beliefs. You'll see step-by-step how this guy's religious indoctrination unravelled without the need for anything other than introspection, observation and common sense.
Or perhaps you're too scared to face reality?
