This car (errr large go cart) gets me excited and is deff on top of my list before lambo, Ferrari, etc. I don't care about status, this thing is a beast.

The new Atom 500 V8 is 500Bhp and goes 0-60 in 2.3 seconds and Costs $160,000 and both models are totally road legal.

But if that's a little too steep, there is also a 300HP version that goes 0-60 in 2.89 Seconds and brand new is only $49,000 and I've found some used for $30k.

However for 160k I would rather get myself AMS Alpha 10 GTR

Yea I have to agree that car is pretty legit.

The Atom 300 aka 300HP version does 1/4 mile in 10.8 seconds. for 49k

No official time on the Atom 500 V8 aka 500HP version.

The thing that makes the Atom so different is its open cabon / indy look and feel.

I could only imagine how fun it would be to drive compared to a GTR or other sports car.

Yea I guess, I mean I used to drive a CBR600RR every day as my main means of transpertation, then I got sick of riding in the rain and got a car.

but I could see driving this thing on every sunny day, no questions asked.

@cheshire -you've obviously never owned a Motorcycle, you have to fight bitches off because they want you to take them for a ride, with this I would assume it would be even crazier because its safer yet still dangerous. girls love that shit.

That is very state dependent, bitches in states with helmet laws tend to be less for it.
 
lol @ americans talking about drag races here. This thing is something to take around a TRACK with .. CORNERS and I'm not talking about ovals here.

great car, looks like shit though. KTM's similar looking one (with the new Audi S3 Engine) is much better looking. anyone know its Nordschlife lap time?
