1984.info is the domain... honestly, I think i'm going to pass on the offer. Don't really need the cash and i'm pretty fond of this particular domain, then again, I like cash... any thoughts?

Take the cash. Unless your really into the domain but honestly cash out and buy some domains or what ever you else you do lol.

ok... seems i'd be smart to take the cash. I don't know fuck all about domaining.

That's Mr. Dark to u motherfucker

thx for the replies

If they offered 350 why don't you counter offer and see if you can increase the price
I am sure if they started at 350 u can get over 400

Grab the cash! I can't imagine that someone wants to pay $350!
Maybe it's because I don't like .info domains but it seems kinda overvalued.

fuck that. 2x the offer. If they turn you down, make them sweat a bit, and then comeback for the 350. What are you going to do with it? You could make plenty of money on book and cliff's notes sales with that domain.

Political shit would work too. Say the right thing and you'll be on TV for christs sake.

I'd research who is making the offer first to see if they can afford more. Most of the domain acquisitions I've done have been using false identities. Not like multiple passports and shit, but if people knew the companies I was buying them for (instead of thinking i was a lone wolf) they'd ask for a lot more.

Also, most serious domainers are warehousing their names these days, not reselling.

And 1984 is a reference to a book and we all know what the book is about. With Janet Nepolitano, internet privacy violations, and the rate at which this country is becoming a police state, do you REALLY think that you're going to hear fewer references to 1984? I think the use of the term itself will make up for it falling off shelves as years go by. But that's just an opinion.

It depends on how important that domain is to you , if its really important then why are you waiting get it now :D

A domain's purpose is to make you money. If it isn't developed and making you money, fucking sell it.

Kept the domain.. fuck it.

I think it has more than 350 worth of potential, and will increase HUGELY in relevance. Perhaps I'm wrong about the former, but I'm def right about the latter. We shall see.

Thanks for all the advice.
