I started the http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/8342-lets-get-work-47-day-challenge.html?highlight=days47 Day on Valentine's Day. I hope everyone who joined me did better than I did on meeting their goals!

I got pretty discouraged and unmotivated to work when I was loosing work I had done regularly with being hacked into and with the extended down time with the previous hosting company. I'm back motivated, now, but lost some ground.

I focused on launching Jan's Group Home Support. I wish I could've gotten more done, but I did more with the blog in the past 47 days than I had done in the past year :).
  • There are 14 posts scheduled for posting over the next 4 weeks
  • Some affiliates added (more to come)
  • New resources added
  • I put up fliers at work

Projects NP and Confetti launches have been postponed. I have been working on photos for the last one, but that has been it. Maybe I'll launch those on Mother's Day!

I got some writing done for my own projects, but did get behind in paid writing.

I only lost 2.5 lbs instead of 10 lbs. I got lazy on the exercising and watching what I eat in the evening (which was successful at the beginning). I will continue to work on that goal. EDIT-I just got this birthday card from my step-dad which was related to this goal and pretty funny.

I was successful on taking better care of myself. I have been eating better food, taking supplements regularly, using lotion, exercising more than I was, and drinking green/white tea once a day.

Over all-I guess I got almost 1/2 my goals accomplished. I was feeling a little down about it, but then I couldn't help appreciate that I am alive and healthy and able to continue to work on them. I don't give up easily (if at all), on my goals and will keep moving forward no matter what the pace!

I have my one site around 90% complete and its really looking good- and two more in the works. Took out a loan to finance them, since I needed to hire a programming team. I figured I needed to bite the bullet and stop thinking of great ideas and actually get to work on them! I can't wait until I have at least one large site up and running.

My arb plans have fallen short, I've been too wrapped up in the other projects - and I love working on them much more than building arb campaigns.

hi jan, good followup post! i had set a 40 day goal around the time you started the challenge. my wife works alongside of me and we set a goal that would be a challenge to reach although not near what we need for me to quit my job. we needed a good goal to keep us up half the night working and staying focused to work hard. at end of 40 days we were doing okay but not great. we lost about 2 weeks with a vacation to jamaica (which was awesome) and a family emergency (which was not) and that really slowed down momentum. however we kept working and have now hit half our daily goal amount 5 of last 6 days so we are encouraged. we've set a new 100 day challenge ending on our anniversary this summer. since i have a day job, i really only work in the evenings. what i've found that helps me is to set a goal in my mind before starting work that night to stay focused. on one hand it's exciting to have lots of different projects going on, but if without the focus i look at the clock and it's 2:30am and feel like i haven't gotten anything done that night. i also really try to cut down on WF visits now that i know what i'm doing. even though we didn't meet our goal, we made progress and that is real exciting. it's easy to get discouraged with IM when you don't see instant results.

Great, now I feel like a looser.

Actually, work (9 to 5 job) has been mad... still...

I think I'll just neg rep you all. :D

Reefer420, I'm in a similar situation. Paid for some programming via CC and waiting for the finished product. Mine will be ready in May if everything goes to schedule, which usually, it won't.

I wasn't part of this challenge but I did way more than some of you. LOL. I launched 5 non-arbi websites, hired 2 website programming jobs, and reviewing one friend as a potential partner going forward (he's a PHP guru).

April will be the month of the blog for me where I not only continue to launch more basic content websites, I'll be launching about 5-10 blogs. Then May will be here where I focus on 1-2 sites for the next 3-6 months.

All this, because I found this forum.

The only problem is my wife isn't seeing IMMEDIATE results so all she sees is money going out the door. LOL.
