I've just started using facebook and so far it's going well. I'm pretty much breaking even. I've got a few questions though:
1. What's a good CTR? I know it varies, but I really have no idea since I'm used to search PPC. My better ads are getting like .2%...is that decent?
2. If an ad is denied for a stupid reason, can I just re-submit it without editing? I've had a lot of ads denied that were completely legit.
3. How do you get volume? Even with my ads that get good CTR's and are profitable for me, it's hard to spend more than $20/day, even while my bid is at the top of the suggested bid range.
4. Will lowering your bid too much reduce impressions? One of my ads did very well, so the suggested bid was lowered from $0.50 to $0.20-$0.31. I bumped it down to $0.25 - could that possibly reduce impressions/volume?

And lastly, are there any ad platforms like FaceBook? I've heard of the Myspace version obviously - is that any good? Any other similar platforms that you use?

Thanks

1.) Your CTR of .2% is actually pretty solid. Awhile back a Facebook rep told me anything over .07% will keep getting impressions at your bid unless it's really lowballing. Not sure if thats true or not - but I do find that my ads above that range keep going.
2.) Yes, resubmit your heart out. Facebook ad approvers are idiots.
3.) Whats your daily budget limit on Facebook? Check your billing section.
4.) It shouldn't effect it - but with CTR I would slowly decrease it and not do it in one big decrease.

Facebooks traffic converts better for me so I don't use myspace all that much, but thats just based on what you promote.

^thanks. Yeah, I'm set at $50/day for my main campaign, and today I almost reached that ($45), so I'm starting to get some volume. I actually profited today...about $3! I don't care what you say, I'm happy.

Anyways, a few more questions:
1. Can you have multiple Facebook accounts? I say this because I have an unused voucher that I got from hosting or something. Oh, and if so, can they be on the same IP, or would that throw up red flags?
2. Is there any way to set up ads to run at specific times? Either through Facebook's platform, or through some 3rd-party software?
3. Is there any way to help cut down on time spent editing and resubmitting ads/making new ads? It's a pain in the ass to manually do everything. If there's a software, I may consider purchasing it if it's reasonably priced.

Thanks
