A question on Weight Loss and Muscle gain for those of you who Workout

Avoid milk? What's wrong with milk? Skim milk is low calorie, low carb, low fat and plenty of protein.

211 6 foot needs to realize that it is not "weight" per say that he should ever be concerned about it is body shape and muscle to fat ration. If he went to 215 and it was lean muscle mass added, he would look drastically more fit and healthy...and a 6 foot frame can pull that off.

Yeah chocolate milk is nice but to much sugar and calories. Good protein like muscle milk actually tastes good and is low on calories.
Take a preworkout shake like nos. You'll never have a boring workout again. Oh yeah blast those headphones to full volume.

Off topic but on subject...I have a hard time drinking water. If I've been working outside or when I get up at night I'll drink a glass but find myself quick to grab something else throughout the day. To break that habit I've been drinking more of the Vitaminwater Zeros and the Sobe Zeros. Obviously water is best but how bad can these be?

I have lost 25kg as well and bring some muscles as well, 3 times a week decent semi-hard workout for about an hour, 3 times a week cardio for 45 or more minutes, and atkins diet that 4 or so monthes. You will not die, don't worry.

Milk is ok and great, lean chicken/cow meat, veggies, cofe/tea without sugar, no bread/beer/sugar/fast food/cokes, lot of cheese is ok as well. You can even get drunk sometimes, just not with beer or liqure, vodka/vine is fine lol

I have not used any vitamins, minerals, protein or so. Come on... lot of this stuff needed if you plan to score 1st rank in all that categories or even sport master candidate or higher! Get real. Don't listen to most people above, at your current level just listen to me or ayzo for example, rest overestimate effort:)

Meat/milk/cheese is also tastes pretty good if you ask me:)

I don't get the no beer thing for low-carb. It should be no dark or heavy beers. Light beers are perfectly fine. Take a michelob ultra for instance, 2.6g of carbs and minimal sugar. It's not thaaaaaat bad.

Well, not exactly. It's definitely not low in calories or sugar. Humans have only been drinking milk for the last 10k years or so. We're not adapted to it. Think about this. Cow's milk is designed to turn a baby calf into a fucking heffer within a matter of months. Humans have no business drinking it. To quote Arnold, "Milk is for babies, when you grow up you have to drink beer".

+rep ya carb loading is one of the worst advices one can follow..

I say FUCK CARBS... besides veggies.. i know veggies are carbs, but they are the exception, because they have fiber. Fruit in small amounts AFTER a protein/fat heavy meal is ok too. Dont eat fruit on empty stomach or as snacks.

Right on, but I always love a banana before a workout w/ my jack3d & amino's. That combo gets me fired up!

Before workout need to have 1 or 2 bananas and after workout we need to have 'egg-white' . The upper layer of egg along with milk. This really contains proteins and helps us to gain muscles alot.

1 or 2? You need at least 6. Bananas spike insulin but you would do well to also eat oats/rice etc & some eggs prior to working. A moderate quantity of caffeine if you aren't already a caffeine addict & some creatine as well.
